They don't knock me out. They do the epidural and freeze from the waist down. This will be my third time on the table. Can't feel a thing, but there are some weird noises as they remove some bone and install some metal and plastic. Ear pods and good tunes for the win.

This sounds like it may be a more pleasant option!
