What is a solo support?

Is that to like hold the plant up on the lid in the middle of the rubbermaid? Because I was talking last night about growing in a 27 gallon tote and then I was thinking like man that plant would definitely get heavier than the lid could handle.
More than one design, but basically they keep solos from tipping over when they get top heavy, and they ensure air pruning of all roots because the entire cup is suspended in air. I just use plastic nut containers with a hole in the lid:

The runoff collects in the jar, and I remove it with a vaccuum. Any plastic container with a lid big enough would work. You could also put multiple holes in a tote lid to support several solos if you wanted to. :pighug:

My dad had a friend who worked in a metal shop.

He made this rotisserie, and its on permanent loan to me, he said he'd like it back if he wants it, but its been 10 years and I've not heard from the guy, and at this point with my dad gone, I'm not even sure if he could get a hold of me.

Thats two deer shoulders wire trussed together. I smeared it with good mustard and crushed rosemary and cooked it over indirect heat like that. Took like 6 hours, but man it was delicious.

We got snow last night. The kids were pissed it was a saturday and not a school day.

Around 11 we got out of the house, had to run a few errands. My wife needed to return a couple over the shoulder boulder holders to Torrid. She's a bigger gal and they've got them ones that make them tiddys look amazing.

Took the kiddos out to lunch. I got what the menu described as a steak with mushroom gravy. But it was more like swiss steak, it was either a chopped steak or it had the shit tenderized out of it because it was fork tender. Anyways, it was delicious.
Delicious works, even if no knife required. At least it does for me. :pighug:

We used to go camping, we had a 27' travel trailer, and would go to state park campgrounds. But as the girls got older, they got less interested in it. My neighbor warned me, he had the same thing happen, and I was like nooo that won't be us. Yeah, that was us. The girls just wanted to hang out inside and watch TV. I loved cooking over the fire like that, but we could never find friends that would commit to joining us.

I loved going camping during halloween, because the kids could trick or treat between sites, it was fun, and the campground we went to would have a big halloween dance for the kids. I would take that spit and cook a big chunk of meat. People would come by and be like wow, thats a lot of meat. and I'd say yeah dude, you are invited, bring a side dish and be down here at 6 when we eat. I told that to so many people. Just bring a side, I've got a ton of meat, join us! no one would ever do it.

Oh, cool! Thats an awesome idea. I do plan on growing a few out in solos, so its good to know what to do.

Also, glad to see you have a good source of fibre.

It's fun but demanding hand watering I need to set this one up on a drip system hand feeding isn't cutting it :toke::headbang:
Hand watering solos is tricky. So far, I have kept my pollen she-males alive, if not entirely joyful, with 3-4 waterings per day, but when they are on auto, I now hit them 8 times a day. The problem is that once root bound, they will not accept a large fertigation without overflowing. The only way around it is a larger number of fertigations. When in manual mode, I basically consider every watering a flush, and hit them with enough nutes to make (guessing here) maybe a 30% or so runoff. To do this, I have to fertigate them twice at each fertigation, with enough time for the first charge to be absorbed before the second is added.

Speaking of which... it is time, again. :pighug:

@wwwillie

I showed my wife your picture of you holding that big weed branch, and I was like this dude is one of the AFN mods, and if you saw him in public you would never suspect he grew or smoked, right?

And she was like nah, that hat screams I love weed.

And I was like no, he just looks like an eccentric older guy OMG I just realized that my middle school band teacher definitely smoked a ton of weed.
Just wait until you see his extractions :crying:

Back a few years ago my dad had some issue with his phone, and he asked me to look at it. I started looking into it and he just had a ton of apps running, and I was like wow you have a ton of web browsers running.

and I guess he thought I could see what he'd been looking at, so he says..

"Yeah, those chicks with dicks, they look pretty hot until you see the dick..."

like WHOAH dad, I did not want to know what you'd been looking at, I was just fixing your phone.
