Yup that’s what I thought and releases potassium when it does that. Only thing is I thought it was only calcium and magnesium it absorbed didn’t know about phosphorus but that would explain some issues I’ve had :toke::lildab: :pass:
I remember reading about it when I was doing all that coco research when I was trying to fix that dude’s “professional” garden….

That’s when I learned that “professional” means you get paid to do it, not that you’re good at it:doh::pass::rofl:

:crying: Ok gotcha thanks homie learn something new everyday :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hey I was wondering and I should know this but do you feed every watering in your setup? Or do you mix plain waterings in? I keep thinking about picking up a bag of promix and trying it I know my local nursery carries it

Morning everyone!

I thought I had read that before but I wasn't for sure.
I tell you both owls are pretty damn powerful! I'm pretty sure I have quite a bit of CBD in there. You know that should kind of mediate the euphoric part of the high. It ain't doing much of a job! :crying:

The CBD is definitely doing its job. One would think I have quite a bit of soreness from remaining in one position for that long.. Wasn't the case this morning.

Man, that's a blessing in half!
And the Ovaltine that I use has soy lecithin, that should also aid in the absorption from my understanding.
The lecithin is an emulsifier (makes oil mix with water). They put it in cocoa to keep the cocoa butter oil from floating on top of your cup. It does seem to make the MCT oil stronger. With lecithin I only need half as much MCT oil for the same effect (my experiments might be bro science tho). I've been using 1/4 teaspoon of sunflower lecithin powder to get half a dropper of MCT oil to dissolve in a cup of coffe or herb tea. Cocoa has enough lecithin already in it to do the job. I keep the grounds that are left over when I infuse MCT oil to make ganja tea (boil the oily grounds with lecithin). I didn't know they still make Ovaltine.

I feed plain water for the first week, and then nutrients until harvest, unless I’m being all stonery at the end, then the last two feedings will be plain water….but that’s laziness, not flushing    :pass:

I like Ovaltine the best and then Nestle's Quick no added sugar.
Hershey's powder is too sweet.

So….you’re probably on to something.

Here’s what I know…..

Coconut oil is comprised of long chain triglycerides (most fats are, like fish avocado etc)…

MCT oil is comprised of medium chain triglycerides …..

The difference is the medium chain triglycerides don’t require the extra gut enzymes to digest, so MCT is sent straight to your liver for absorption, thus hitting you faster.
