That a normal thing there? Power company here has never cut the power off on purpose in my entire life

Yeah it happens here and there just kinda depends where you live but never for this long. Maybe once a year but 4 or 5 hours max. Usually due to maintenance, this time they said a circuit needed to be changed cause something about a line running through a high risk fire hazard area or something like that. Can't remember the exact wording but yeah 11 hours was rough.
