@SNOOKY Sorry I didn't answer your actual question I got side tracked on the pump. A filter is necessary if you have something inline the system that can plug up the ie: emitters or flora flex bubbler manilfold with the emitter puck in. If your running open flow and have nothing with small orifice's that can clog then you can probably get away with no filter. The big problem comes with the emitters and running organic's in the Rez stuff gets plugged late grow
Thank you @Lil Dab no need to apologize I appreciate any help I receive, the consensus is a bigger pump would be beneficial. I am running an open system no inserts or emmiters, all tubing same exact length. I assumed Flora Flex was on top of game since they sell this pump for an 8 plant kit and I am only running 4 atm. System is running fine atm without the filter, will replace pump at the end of this run. May need a 4 horse sump pump to feed these 4 plants with MC:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::thanks:

Adding the drippers will slow what comes out and also allow the lines to build pressure! Open system like that it cant build up pressure to evenly distribute the water so think the pots closer to reservoir will wind up getting more flow! Think tho the drippers would solve issue if pump indeed has enough power! 6.6gph seems awfully low! U sure its not per minute?

That would basically equate to a 400gph pump if it was getting 6.6gpm! ;)

It porbably works ok with only what comes with it kit. Now when and if you get a bigger pump you might want to use the emitter inserts in the manifold you can much better adjust your feed rates it's pretty accurate

yup I was just looking at the system exactly

This should spur some harsh remarks

:rofl::rofl: Oh man, Mason, there's quite a bit of history with that bugger and AFN!

To be fair, he started out pretty solid way back when,...but he paled to La Buena Hierba and HighRise at the time.
He went through the usual BS with popularity, outsourcing productions, hacked genetics with fading quality... Eventually he seemed to just ghost off for a while,...guess he bailed (or booted?) from Short Stuff... pinged on the radar later with the "re-emergence" of Flash...

Not that he's wrong generally speaking, but his Karma apparently has finally dropped the Bill on him...

Thank you @Fermented_Fruitz good point of no pressure, did not think of it but makes much sense. Thinkin the tent is pretty filled right now, will leave alone till finished. The system works fine wo the filter.
I took the gph # off the Amazon web site, I do not think they are correct, cause I get a gallon in one minute, that is the volume I use at each fertigation For 4 plants.
