Not weed related, but seed related, hoping someone here knows...

Saturday before last, so 9 days ago, I bought one of those jiffy seed starter things with the little peat pots. Put all my seeds in, and its been on a seed starting mat since.

Not a single damn sprout has come up. Its mostly tomatoes and peppers.

Is 9 days normal for sprouting garden seeds? I used rockwool last year and I don't remember it taking this long.

I had a tough time with the jiffy's. They seamed to stay too wet for too long. I ended up going back to the paper towel method with good success. I need to get thinking on this year's garden.

i hear ya. We gave a pup a treat tge otger night. Ended up waking up every 2 hpurs to bring her out. Ugh, now people scraps for her.

A decent haul for a mid sized plant. I could have left her longer, but there is Botrytis in the 'drobe, for the first time ever, so choppity chop. I found three spots of initial infection, but didn't lose more that a couple vapes worth. I am puzzled why this grow, and never once on one plant in my indoor grows before. If anything, I kept it even drier than usual. Go figure. I guess next round, I will clip a few more fans.

I had a similar issue. I tracked it down the the cut ends of trimmed leaves causing bud rot deep inside the buds. I try to leave them now.
