Going to the Doc today. Gonna talk to him about my pain management. Gonna see if he wants to take a crack at it or refer me to a specialist. Gonna see if I can get something going that's heart healthy.
When I talked to the nurse yesterday, I told her about my problem in getting the VA to authorize another round of physical therapy and of my frustration in getting Tri-West, the company the VA uses to find appts. for Vets using civilian medical due to being remote from a VA facility, to do their job properly. I let a little 'French' loose, just the f*cking sailor in me, Ma, and she busted out laughing. Seems she has the same 'high opinion' of them!
She did tell me that they do have a counselor that works with a lot of Vets for the two Docs at the office. I bit my tongue a bit and didn't ask why she didn't inform me of this sooner.
This is the beginning of my assault on the VA to get my disability rating where it should be! With the people I'm working with to help me with this attempt, I think it's gonna just be jumping thru their stupid hoops to get it done.
If I'm successful, I'm gonna get my young Vet buddy to follow my lead. I have no idea why he's not at 100%!
When I get this done, if there are Vets here with disabilities, I sure will share what I've done and who I worked with.
Gonna show the Doc the damn crappy ass handiwork of the cosmetic surgeons did to my damn ear. I know he's gonna say something about it.

Love cooking with cannabis myself. Yes, great in juices or smoothies too. I do it mostly for the vitamins myself. I like spinach better, but I am learning new ways to cook it and I am enjoying it more and more.
