Good Morfnoevight All!

Does it surprise any of you that BIG CORPORATE CANNABIS FARMS would put the little growers out of business? That is exactly what has taken place here in California. Money talks and bullshit walks.

We have discussed this here before but this is the best most comprehensive article I have read on the subject.

What do ya expect when greedy politicians are in the mix?

When talking receptacles I always assume this.

serves me pretty well.
I'll bet. I figure that extension cords, multi-plug or not, are the most dangerous electrical devices in most houses. Breakers do not protect against wire contacts or faults that cause resistance where there should be none. Which under even normal current levels causes heat, and away the circus goes.

This is a huge problem for boats attached to shore power through an extension cord. Many a boat has burned up because of it. Some insurance companies are insisting on so called smart plugs which monitor heat in the plug fixture and disconnect if heat is detected. I prefer to do my own heat monitoring. With fingers. Boat ownership has taught me a fair bit, including the risks of extension cords.

Anyway, having you here to keep the rest of us out of trouble is a fine thing, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

@Mañ'O'Green this is just like the one I have on the property.

Is your wire underground? Our service drop is a wire from a telephone pole. That was the wire that could not handle the 250 amps.
