I’m about an hour North of Big lick

Nice! I get up that way fairly often. I get wood from a sawmill outside of Staunton and have some relatives around there as well. Was born in Va, but this is the first time I've lived here. Got the whole state covered with relatives from DC to the beach to hillbilly in SE VA along the WV border. Been here about three years now. Into outdoor stuff so a great place to be. I kayak a lot and decent place for it. got the James river, Smith Mountain lake, New River, the Gauley...

I'm sooo over ready for Spring.........

Hope we have a spring here! Went from chilly to 2 days of 70’s and then last weekend was 86 & 94 the 2 days I had to unload all them cases of mason jars! Back to 85ish Mon/Tue and tomorrow think goes to several days of high around 70! Gonna take advantage of the cooler days so I can get the last of my tomato soil mixed up and in the pots so I can start em at the proper time this year! Just hope they get to flower before gets to over 94 constantly or they won’t flower! If that happens I’ll make an indoor grow spot for them with 1 of my spare lights!

Decided to put couple tomato plants into each of my big earthboxes I wasn’t using and I have 1 of the square root and veg boxes I’m gonna put a couple pepper plants into! Think once I figure out what I’m getting blumat wise I may use the extra carrots and maybe the soaker hose and set them up in my big bags I’ll have cucumbers in again! Gonna put them bags on side of the house against the fence to climb this year so they ain’t growing up to the roof like last year!
