Roused this morn to a wake and bake and to see how much more snow I had to wade through today....well....glad I got baked before lookin'...about around 4-5" on top of monday's 7"....internets still on after being out due to ice storms before the snow....
It's been years since we had this kind of snow....'68 comes to mind...18"...8hr drive to go 45 miles...'78...sledding with tractors......'94 made drivin'my Z more 'fun'....
Lived in Dallas in the 80's and worked mostly in New York, ya kinda get used to the cold and the people there know how to deal with it but an inch of anything down south....oh brotha......
We're a coupla states away from Texas but having nothing like they're having. My lady has a shuttle to get her to work (medical) daily and I have a new service dog to feed...
Good day Stoners.
Feeling sad for my Texan friends. The weather is bad enough but it looks like they are about to be ENRON'd through their electric bills.
Europe might not be familiar. In 2002 ENRON manipulated California's power supply so billing went up to astronomical amounts. Robbing 1.1 billion dollars.
