Good Morning Mossy and all. Feenix jarred a lot of good memories loose. found a pic of the beach at Lantana. The tide was up and not the best beach pic but being in Michigan it looks Mighty Fine now.

Just when you Thought things couldn't get Worse...........................................................................:gassy:

I had a dive buddy, that I eventually had to kick aside, had this thing for shatks. He was scared the hell outta them and hated them. We had a few very close encounters with some damn Tigers and it scared the hell outta him. The next outing, he has a damn bangstick in his gear. I told him to leave that in my truck. On the way to the dive spot, he had been talking about the dive and obsessing over the sharks. I just knew he had intent to use it. I just think it could make a simple encounter into something far worse.
Besides, I just don't kill things because I can!
Only thing I shoot these days is pictures

There is an edible mollusc in the shallows of the beach here....you often see people sifting for them and eating them raw...
Oysters don't occur here naturally but they're being grown here and you can eat 'em raw. It's been 50 years since we did that in the lower 48:nono:

I don't hunt anymore. For me, hunting is really a group endeavor. Yeah, I've hunted by myself, but it's far more meaningful to me to hunt with friends or family. I've had a small number of true friends, I'm picky and private. Most of them have been killed or died and the living are far away and with modern life, family is spread out.
With hunting, for me it's a primal need to interact with nature. That's why growing canna give me pleasure. Where ever I;ve been in this world, I've always grown something. It's a pretty deep-seated need in me.

I need some of that pasty too

Grab your fork @Jraven .......:pass:...
