They the same age then:smoking:

mine was a morris something or other..it cost £30 with six months tax and mot on it.....i had to get underneath and hit the starter moter with a hammer before turning ignition,,every panel was a different colour and if you put the heater on it would spurt steam at you :crying: lasted the six months and i got me money back on scrap

I'm pretty sure it was a Morris Minor me Dad had and the windscreen wipers only went as fast as the engine...so if it was hissing down you had to drive fast or drive blind....

When my son was taking his driving test I said...if youPass you can have the mini for a week...so you can drive to all your friends and show off...... :pass: ...pfft.....I never Saw it again......:crying:

Hubby gave him driving lessons in it....and I remember him coming in very white after one lesson...
asked what was the matter...he said we over took a wagon on the dual carriage way doing 80 mph........

I said..what...the mini doesn't Do 80 mph....
he said..it Does when Terry is driving it.......:crying:

Thank the good lord for rainx. I had an xj6 with no wipers and never did find a motor to fix them. The faster you drive the better the rain beads off. It had the chevy v8 conversion and was fast.

:rofl: That is a funny coincidence. The Vaux broke down halfway between New Jersey and Florida and the tow driver bought it for the $75 I paid for it and a ride to the bus station.
:pass:

When we first got here hubby and friend drove an old left hand drive Merc over......it was a Beast...hubby used to drive through town at the speed limit....
Then when we hit the salt flats and everyone behind was considering over-taking...he'd put his foot down and leave everyone for Dust......
He Loved that merc.......:pass:

I built the engine for that in 2009 I believe. It was around $52K if I remember correctly.
Yup....hubby used to fish the north sea and they dreaded seeing a seal popup alongside the boat....coz they knew all the fish would be scattered.....

I Remember this Magical holiday in Greece...we were in the water a good hour before everyone even hit the beach.

All of a sudden hundreds of these small rainbow fish started jumping out of the water around us...then larger ones...leaping out and diving back in...sparkling in the sun....we were mesmerised.....

I Thought the were spawning....hubby said there was probably something bigger...hunting them....bit disturbing...

2 minutes later..........hubby who was closer into shore.......Screamed...... :yoinks:

He says I Walked on water back to the shore and left him......:crying:

Turned out a discarded piece of newspaper in the water tickled him on the side...then wrapped around his back and sucked on......

:crying::crying::crying: He Thought it was the Big predator..........:crying:..I didn't wait to find out.....

F the North Sea! :grrr1:
Damn cold ass black sea with stupid high random huge swells and waves!
Only damn place in the world where it's worse is going around the Damn Horn. You know the waves are huge when they break on TOP of the damn flight deck of an aircraft carrier...................although it was quite amusing watching the little destroyer following COMPLETELY disappear between waves!

Ms. MOG and I are avid scuba divers and Have dove many many times in the Monterey Bay of California. The visibility can get quite bad but we go out anyhow to practice navigation skills. On one such bad vis day we got into a huge ball of sardines and we became the "leader" of them. when we turned the fish would turn in unison like a dance. It was so cool. We could only see 7 or 8 feet and it was just solid silver fish. Then all of the sudden in a 1/10 of a second they were instantly gone :yoinks: and we knew it had to be a predator. Great Whites do hunt in the bay and we just were looking at each other when a seal popped in right between us - I nearly shit my wet suit. We still talk about that dive today.

This is me in Monterey on a pretty good day.

You almost never really see very many sharks when you dive so we went to the Bahamas to dive with them :crying:

Looks like the Unnamed girl has a cal-mag issue... She’s the only strain I’ve ever grown that’s consistently had issues, Despite the fact that she’s had the exact same treatment as every other girl in my tent. Kind of glad she’s only got a few weeks left... I don’t like needy girls lol

Alright, So... How’s everyone this evening?
