I do miss it. I go back a couple of time a year but it's all changed on land. Gentrified. The rich have bought up most of it. :nono:
The problem with dolphins is that when they are playing around the moving boat, the fish stay away. But watching the people seeing them up close in the wild for the first time is great.:headbang:

Yup....hubby used to fish the north sea and they dreaded seeing a seal popup alongside the boat....coz they knew all the fish would be scattered.....

I Remember this Magical holiday in Greece...we were in the water a good hour before everyone even hit the beach.

All of a sudden hundreds of these small rainbow fish started jumping out of the water around us...then larger ones...leaping out and diving back in...sparkling in the sun....we were mesmerised.....

I Thought the were spawning....hubby said there was probably something bigger...hunting them....bit disturbing...

2 minutes later..........hubby who was closer into shore.......Screamed...... :yoinks:

He says I Walked on water back to the shore and left him......:crying:

Turned out a discarded piece of newspaper in the water tickled him on the side...then wrapped around his back and sucked on......

:crying::crying::crying: He Thought it was the Big predator..........:crying:..I didn't wait to find out.....

I don't blame you,:haha: There are some real monsters out there. I like trolling rather than anchored bottom fishing and always was hunting for fish bigger than me. We released all billfish except an occasional Sailfish for smoking ( yes, they were hard to light ) and most sharks.

My car is 20 years old in June.....she has her falling off problems too.....:pighug:

They the same age then:smoking:

That Vauxhall wagon was my first car. It was a rough winter and the snow would whip up into it. through the holes.

mine was a morris something or other..it cost £30 with six months tax and mot on it.....i had to get underneath and hit the starter moter with a hammer before turning ignition,,every panel was a different colour and if you put the heater on it would spurt steam at you :crying: lasted the six months and i got me money back on scrap
