Good morning @Mossy, Stoners.
That Vauxhall wagon was my first car. It was a rough winter and the snow would whip up into it. through the holes. Some years later I had a beautiful silver Jag XJ12 that I bought for a ridiculous price because the engine was bad and had to be repaired. The floor also had some small holes under the carpet that were hidden. In summer we got torrential rains and the intersections would flood and I'd end up full up over my ankles at every red light. But I loved that car until I blew it up. 30 miles from home it swallowed a valve and still got me home on one bank of 6 cylinders. Never started again.

When we first got here hubby and friend drove an old left hand drive Merc over......it was a Beast...hubby used to drive through town at the speed limit....
Then when we hit the salt flats and everyone behind was considering over-taking...he'd put his foot down and leave everyone for Dust......
He Loved that merc.......:pass:
