Best of luck looks like your set I was thinking of trying hg roots XL heard it's great.

Well she's being a stubborn and slow sativa, the seed is shed, cotyledons are still closed and lounging beneath the hole in the rooter cube, I'll give her 24 hours if she doesn't rise by then I'll cull it and start another, 6 days is ample time to give I think, still a 100% germ rate on mephisto beans, just this one may not get to the finish lol.

Yeah I'm starting over, there was no root at all, seed number 2 dropped in the water, let's try this again lol

Ok so we have lift off! Some info on these fantasmo beans, they're very hard, some light scarification or extra soaking is needed, I used an old school method of cracking the seed open by hand, and then putting it back into the paper towel, she was a slow popper but maybe will be a fast and magnificent finisher! Today is day 1. Transplanted rapid rooter dusted with great white into the soil, lightly watered it down with a couple drops of roots xl and algen. Leaving her under 3 x 23w cfl on 24/7 for a few days up to a week to get some stretch before putting her under the led.

I had one of my Fantasmo seeds not germ, I threw it out in my backyard. Maybe I'll get lucky and see a lady growing in my backyard one day lol

Yeah now we can compare, wouldn't it be funny to look back in the yard and see a big ass sativa bush back there?lol

Day 5.

Gave a small feed with 1ml roots xl and 1ml algen extract. I brought the fan down lower to bulk the stalk up, and put her under led at 18/6 for the duration, however, I may play around with the timer near the end to gradually bring the cycle down to 11/13 just to see if it will show more phenotypical expression.

I have 2 Fantismos coming down on Tues but when I got the beans I noticed how extremely small they were. I used my germination technique that never fails me. I went from soaking in water for 24 hrs then to moist paper towels on my germination mat-nothing. Then back to water for 48 hrs and then to the moist paper towels for 48 hrs before they finally cracked. I never give up on a bean. They grew but slowly and didn't achieve their advertised size but the buds are very frosty and good size and excellent smell. I once received some small beans from Dutch Passion and they also acted the same way. Pipes

I'm glad to see other folks had hard time with these I have now ordered 4 of these 2 no go,one popped but that's all then last one came up that's it now almost all my others have been 100% I'm not going to try her again for awhile if ever plenty others to choose from.
I don't mean I was happy for your bad luck happy to find out I'm not losing it.lol
