Planning on having a massive grow again I see? Really well done on your first one. Excited to see what you pull off this time. Looks like a top tier setup and genetics.

Thanks D! Great to have you along, lucky for me indeed. And yeah, I thought I’d see how much I can stretch 4 because I’d like to run 8 in my two tents for the winter grow.

Day 1

Everyone sprouted right on time last night. This is a good time for grow details and pics I guess so here we go.

The first pic above shows my 4x4 tent and 4x4 630w led light. I like to keep my light 30-36” above the canopy per manufacture suggestion and it worked great last run. I start out at 60% power giving me about 400 ppfd. At the end the ppfd will be around 800-850.

This is the coco I use. You may wonder is it buffered or washed? Since I don’t know what that means, I have no idea! But it works great!

Currently using GH nutes. Basic and middle of the road stuff but they’re fine for me as I learn, already researching higher quality feed. I like the feed schedule they provide so I don’t have to guess. Last run I only added CalMag 3 times over the whole grow (and only 1ml per gallon at that) and I had zero problems so it will be minimal, if any, this time also. So it’s just the Micro, Gro, and Bloom for me. Included is a sample of the feed chart, which is for photos, so I run with the medium feed chart. Hardly a scientific method as I just use an eye dropper with the 1, 2, and 3ml highlighted in green and guesstimate the exact number.

My PH test kit consists of an Apera pen and a basic GH liquid drop test. Because of my lack of trust in technology I actually depend more on the drops. Yellow with a hint of orange got me through my entire first grow with zero problems.

I prefer to get my shed at the desired tent temp/rh so I have a large room humidifier and a large room dehumidifier. I also use a small humidifier in the tent for extra humidity while germinating. Also pictured is a garden sprayer which I use for feeding, I just removed the tip.

Day 5

One of the Skywalkers has been frozen in time for 5 days now. She popped with everyone else but never fully opened so I kicked her ass out. Easy choice with 80 seeds in the fridge and zero tolerance for weaklings so now there’s more room in the tent and one less plant to trim (always the silver lining guy). Cant wait til these guys start grooving, can you tell which one I plucked haha. Happy growing! Peace

Day 10

The second set of leaves are same size as the first at 10 days and I’ve read that’s always a good sign so we got that working for us. At about day 7 Skywalker developed brown burnt looking tips on first leaves. I rotate the plants clockwise every day at 5 and they all drink from the same bottle so I had to remind her how easily I showed her twin sister the door. I‘m not impatient by any means, I just have no desire at this time to nurse a needy plant. She turned it around immediately and is thriving with the Stomper sisters.
Light is 32” away 40% power for 315 ppfd (18 DLI). Fertigating daily to runoff (I love coco) and temp/rh averaging 78/65.

Day 13

Happy to finally get past day 10 where I feel like I get to see substantial growth each day. They grow more in the 8 hours of darkness than they do in 16 hours of light so I’ll never understand the 24hr light theory lol. Tomorrow as I start the third week of growth I’ll be taking the DLI up to about 25ish and we’re happy to be off to the races! Happy growing! Peace

Day 15

Raised light yesterday to 36” above and increased to 60% to get 25 DLI. So far no signs of displeasure and everyone is grooving. Starting week 3 of feed schedule…per gal Micro 4.7ml Gro 5.7ml Bloom 2.8ml. I‘ll add 1ml of CaliMagic for 2 feedings a week.

Side note…I ordered 20 Mephisto Sour Crack seeds yesterday and I’m stoked! There’s only a few strains I have my heart set on and I can cross one off the list now. 10 freebies on the way too, hopefully they’re juicy as well! This will alter my plans of a 2 tent all night owl winter grow for sure. SC is supposed to be small so I may devote one tent to 6 of them and the other tent to Owl Pellets. How fun is it to already look forward to a grow 3 months from now hahaa. Happy growing! Peace

My partner says Mephisto’s genetics are highly raved about but has never grow any himself, oh Mephisto’s genes, what is potent medical-effects-wise and provides a potent buzz that’s a good hybrid(s) (a good pleasant mix of body&head effects that won’t make me too Sativa-racing thoughts-anxiety/ or too indica-couch lock is fine but not something that will put me directly to sleep

Day 18

They’re grooving nicely and I discovered that one of the Sour Stompers has sprouted twins at the first node! This might be common but it’s new and shiny to me haha. I wasn’t gonna top this run but have decided to do so. Just not sure when. Anyways I just wanted to share a picture of the twins because I think it’s cool. Happy growing! Peace
