Outdoor Let the games begin : Season 4 DP, Dinafem, Sweet, Delicious

Just remembered that I also have some Dina-Fem CBD Critical + autofems as well. Will be running these soonish, and crossing them with some other gear.

Peace
If you have auto white widow or AWW XXL make sure you cross it with some cbd....its a warrior of an outdoor plant in adverse conditions, a huge auto and has medical properties....sounds A-1 for a cbd cross for a great outdoor cbd auto!!

Maybe we talked about this before (my memory is getting worse), but yes I do have a couple AWW XXLs that I am going to hit with some CBD auto genetics for sure. Also have in route some IPCBD autos and drum roll please: Dina Med auto fems (excited for this one). Not sure yet what I will mate with the WW. Most likely will reverse a Dina Med and hit a lot of gear with the fem dust as well as do a reproduction. I will keep you apprised of what I have cooking.

@StickMan, I ran my plants (6) @12/12 from seed. They grew on average to 2', although one went to 30". They all had a large, thick diamond dust encrusted main cola along with the little rock hard side nugs. The smoke is smooth and sweet and earthy, and it will sit your ass right on down! It is perfect for a night of movies and relaxing at home, or a concert or social event on the town, provided that you don't smoke much, and stuff a bag of chicken wings in your pocket! Yeah man, last stop "Munchy Town!" :peace:

What do you mean? They wouldnt finish on time due to a short season? You are at 44thN correct? Its all about strain choice!! I am 100 miles further north than you and strain choice is critical. I can certainly help you out with some suitable choices for the 44thN.

High 912GreenSkell,

Yes, my season is too short for me. I'm taking steps this year to extend my season on the spring end with a cold frame, and will take a couple grows to be comfortable with the grow flow.
"Flipping the switch" is August 30 (within a couple days) outdoors, and can flower for 6 weeks, maybe 7, before the weather turns foggy and rainy for a about 3 days a week.
I only smoke sativas or sativa leaning hybrids. Have no desire for indicas. I prefer to be active (so many things to do...).
This year will be my third season growing, and still sorting things out.
But yes, I would like to have a sativa strain mature (just starting amber trichomes) as they produce much more than an auto.

You are in the 44th N in North America correct? Bud...i can tell you without a doubt that you can grow sativa dominant strains...but choosing the right strain is critical to success. I live another 100 miles north of you(on the latitude) and i grow sativas successfully.
"Flipping" the switch is definitely not mid august...sure with some strains it will be, but certainly not with all. 2 pure sativas that finished in time for me(last week of sept to the first week in october) were Dutch Passion Durban POison and DP Think Fast.

High 912GreenShell,

Thank you for that. I'll do those next year if my plans go afoul this summer. Still looking for a sativa strain that beats what I have now (Purple Haze). So glad you're willing to help with your vast knowledge from experience! Thank you! Ciao

Which breeder is the purple haze?

Update - - - - Okay so i have taken steps to increase humidity...3 times daily i have been spraying the surface of the soil as well as the whole cabinet walls floor ect....seems to be helping. Pics in a few days. Bubba island kush is having a hard time in the low humidity!! Some are showing no negative effects(blue widow, green poison fast, fruity chronic, widowbomb) and the blueberry and think fast are showing medium negative effects. Interesting that the low humidity is just now showing problems!! But if you guys recall, a single plant from the last batch of autos i did was showing issues form the low humidity

Amber from last round...yeah i would say its the same issue i have going on right now!!

Hats off for reading through it all rebel!!

I have grown many trained and untrained plants rebel, and I have to say training beats the piss out of untrained plants. Outdoors, its absolutely no contest. Open canopy training(topped at 4 nodes and trained low and wide eliminating the majority of the canopy) rules in weight gain.
Autos indoors can certainly benefit from the similar type of training for sure especially if the canopy is even and several tops are fighting for the top dominant position. Not every single strain will greatly benefit from this type of training, but i feel like the vast majority of strains/plants will. The more branch tops you can keep within the prime strong light and at the same level of height(to evenly distribute growth energy from apical dominance), the more overall flower you will get in the end. The DP euforia is a prime example.
