Outdoor Let the games begin : Season 4 DP, Dinafem, Sweet, Delicious

Hats off for reading through it all rebel!!

I have grown many trained and untrained plants rebel, and I have to say training beats the piss out of untrained plants. Outdoors, its absolutely no contest. Open canopy training(topped at 4 nodes and trained low and wide eliminating the majority of the canopy) rules in weight gain.
Autos indoors can certainly benefit from the similar type of training for sure especially if the canopy is even and several tops are fighting for the top dominant position. Not every single strain will greatly benefit from this type of training, but i feel like the vast majority of strains/plants will. The more branch tops you can keep within the prime strong light and at the same level of height(to evenly distribute growth energy from apical dominance), the more overall flower you will get in the end. The DP euforia is a prime example.

What's up 912? Work has kept me busy the last week. Just catching up on your progress and saw the Euforia pic you posted. All that I can say is bravo brother! Great job on the training. I am definitely on board with training autos, although the norm for me is to leave them (autos) in their natural state, and just lst the bottom branches for increased yield. I have also let a couple go all natural, and really regretted not lst'ing them from the start. They (Sensi Super Skunk) turned into monsters! I have also had both autos and photos that I trained, and they really didn't like it; stunted plants that produced scrawny, airy buds. That obviously wasn't the case for your Euforia.
I saw that you suggested Dinafem's Critical 2.0 to @dankstyle J for an outside run. I did a Critical+ 2.0 indoors, and the mold resistant aspect of the plant is great, but her real beauty lies in her, well........everything else. The plant is so beautiful! It's not purple, red or blue or anything like that. It's just good old dark green, light green, white, orange.....beautiful, "regular" weed colors. The buds are fat and dense and loaded with crystals. It smells like lemon fuel and the smoke is fantastic!!! It has a very nice constant underlying stone, with a great sense of what I will call "relaxed motivation". I love it. Here are a few pics to illustrate what I am referring to. Please excuse the crappy pics, but I think people will get it.

Here are a couple pics of the Auto Super Skunk that you should immediately either top or super crop. I will just thumbnail them. Just for reference, the guy in pic is just over 6' tall.

Also @Rebel, what's up brother? Thanks for the cool badges, man! I was just trying to figure out what I needed to do to start grabbing a few here and there. :peace:

Yeah totally man...i too have seen a very few plants that didnt like training...but i do find they are so rare, and the vast majority of plants certainly do benefit from LST training and really same with supercropping as well.

Friggin sweet!! Exactly what i am after!! I generally avoid coloured pot for outdoor...if the mold monster strikes spotting mold in purple pot is too much of a hassle. Give me bright green!! Man...i cant wait!! Some of the examples of the critical i have seen outdoors in rough climates have been very impressive...I am guessing mine is gonna have a bit of size to her!!

Gawd....those tings are monsters!! I have yet to crack 54" main stalk on an auto....next biggest was 45", then 43", then 41"

Heaviest so far was 41"

I ran Barney s farm critical kush for several grows indoor an out an was extremely impressed 11ft indica dominate monsters most phenotypes centered around critical I did find one phenotype that yielded the best musky kush buds I have ever smoked not a complete og but more of the old school afghani pine earthyness wish I had taken a clone .Most pheno s centered around the pine lemon skunk berry t y p e a flavor I now know more as the critical pheno .T he critical plants of the past got big in my greenhouse or outdoors so I have a good feeling about this one although they won't be in the ground im going with 12 gallon or bigger so hopefully I get some big trained plants the roof in the greenie is only 7ft.

Yeah 912, those were the largest autos I have run to date. That is the second largest of the three. The largest was at least 4" taller, but it was too close to lights out, and I figured that this one would still get the point across. That was my third run of Sensi Seeds Auto Super Skunk. The nugs are thumb size on average, but they cover the plant, and they are DENSE! The smoke is smooth and tasty. It is a very mellow, kind of " cheesy faced" high. Great daytime smoke.I have only seen two phenos; one is a candy sweet hazey/lemon taste and smell, while the other is a much more skunky/lemon profile. As far as the actual size, the pot is a 3.5g pot, and it stands about 10" tall, but she still was a good 64". So 912, if you want a "super auto", this is a great choice. My smallest, I think 46" or something, yielded right a 5oz. They have all been 70 days or less indoors. :peace:

What's up brother dank? Yeah, I am finding that I like all things critical. I have done Critical+ 2.0, Critical Sensi Star and a Critical Mass. I love the flavor and smell, not to mention that they all have yielded very well. :peace:
