Outdoor Let the games begin : Season 4 DP, Dinafem, Sweet, Delicious

Well said. For me it's kinda like mountain climbing, my focus is never the top of the mountain, just being there, on the mountain, how it feels is my focus only, this is where I'm complete

Exactly! At this point, it's just pure fun. I know enough about the plant that my grows are now stress free. As far as the basics, they are dialed in. That frees me up to just have fun. I'm not saying that I can't have issues, anyone can. The difference is that now the issues are minor; one plant in the whole grow needs more N than everyone else, but I missed it early....no biggie. One plant says it only grows 60-80 cm tall, but it hit 130.....no biggie, well I guess that could be a biggie, but not for me. I will bend a bitch in a minute!!! :muahaha: But seriously.....the thing that I love about this culture is that even with all the knowledge, confidence and practical experience that I have, and I have a ton, I can get on here and learn something new every day; a new strain, a new growing technique, a new light. Maybe it's not even about growing, but a new discovery in the use of cannabis, the new cannabis stock that is the new up-and-comer, what new state just made recreational pot legal, and lets you cultivate with no set plant count. Okay, the last was some "Fantasy Island" type sh**, but you get the point. :jointman:

isn't evolution fun?

912, I have been working too much to read your whole thread, but I remember you said that you had Think Fast on the go. I have done Think Different twice, Auto Ultimate twice....too many of their autos to list, but really wanted to try TF photo. I really like Think Different. I have been running 12/12 from seed photos lately to kind of keep time with my autos. I thought Think Big and/or Think Fast would be a good choice for this style of growing, but I'm not sure @912GreenSkell. Do you "think different?" (see what I did there?) But seriously.....really would like your input, since you have worked with her a few times now. I'm looking for a real yielder. Thanks brother. :peace:

Think fast on a 12/12....hmmm you know I thought with her autos lineage the think fast i have grown would have been faster off the hop. Early on they are very stout stalky plants versus other strains of the same age. The smoke on the TF is stellar, so for that reason alone I would highly advise trying it once!!!

Thanks for the input. I am more concerned with yield than time for the DP 12/12 start to finish. I have 3 cabs, so something is always ready, or about ready to be harvested. 12 weeks from seed to harvest for a photo would be fine with me. One more question, if you don't mind, brother. I have been looking for a thread that showcases strain pics. I know that when I am looking for strain info on something that I am not familiar with, I want to see actual grower pics, not professional pics from the breeder, unless I have trust in that breeder already. (@mephisto, @DutchPassionTony, Sensi Seeds) Plus, who isn't a big fan of bud porn? I should've just lead with that, but I didn't want to sound like such a deviant. :goauto:

Yeah that i don't know....how much stretch to expect and yield...so hard to say!! 12/12 is something i would like to mess with this winter. For some reason i think they would be short squat thick budded compact plants, rather than say the think big which would take a bit longer but also would be wayyy bigger. But if you were going with smaller pots, i could see the photos stacked pulling some serious weight versus space used. All theory of course.

I actually started that for a number of breeders but it was in the form of heaviest yields....guys would swing by and drop yields with pics on the respective threads...the lists were only around autos though...wasn't much interest in the photoperiod side....When i made the lists I ended up making them for Dutch Passion(in the sticky threads), Sweet Seeds and also Dinafem. I had plans to make them for other breeders but never got around to it.

Hello friend glad to see you at it again was wondering on the outdoor possibilities of these strains if you could take the time to let me know the factors we consider in the north .Green poison ,cream caramel , how well do they do an do they finish .I will be using a greenhouse but am still susceptible to mold an miildew although with me having my hand on em every day I assume way less then previous oregon grown journals.

Sorry bud!! Missed this one earlier!!

Alright bud....both the Cream Caramel and the Green POison did quite well for me last year, though both struggled with mold a bit. Mold was kind of bad on the green poison and moderate on the cream caramel. I think the cream caramel in a higher wind situation would do pretty well, but i would expect some loss. The green poison I did wasnt very good at all for mold, but even with many colas being mostly tossed the yield was quite large and the smoke very potent. I liked the toke so much i decided to give it a double run doing both the regular version and the fast version. It bother me a bit that the green poison is sooooo well spoken for mold resistance and yet was the worst of my plants last season(8 strains)
Green poison was harvested Sept 21st at the 45thN
Cream Caramel was harvested Sept 26th at the 45thN

Thank you very much they both sound good an Sept harvests are nice in oregon the rain hits way hard but the greenie should help quite a bit but it's still a challenge pulling plants at 80 to 90% humidity thinking of running blue kush skelly og c99 cream Carmel green poison but critical2.0 is also a possible one .The cindys mostly sativa an my luck with mostly sativa usually results in grade A hash but I have a good feeling about her in the greenhouse.
