Outdoor Let the games begin : Season 4 DP, Dinafem, Sweet, Delicious

What's up @912GreenSkell? Back pain is unfortunately something else we have in common. I have avoided surgery for those exact reasons. I got hit (not that hard) by a military van when I was in the corps. Missed a couple days duty due to lower back pain and tightness. I was 18....no biggie. I got out of the Marine Corps about 10 months later at 21 years old. Flash forward 4 years, I lie face down on my living room floor after a 12 hour 3rd shift, and fall asleep for maybe 20 minutes. When I wake up and start to get to my knees, it felt like my lower spine was bending the wrong way, and about to snap. My wife had to call an ambulance, and I was off to the emergency room. The crazy part was that on the ride in, I was laying there talking to the emt, and just like that, I felt the pressure instantly go away, like someone had opened a pressure valve all the way. I sat up and I was fine. The mri showed that I have disc damage in my L4 and L5; so right at the lowest point of my back, where all your back movement starts. The Marine Corps denied all responsibility, and I had no proof, because I had misplaced my files over the years. I had med record sent to me, but all it showed was that I went to sick call and had lower back strain from a fall. I was young, and didn't think I could fight Uncle Sam, so I did not pursue a claim. I am 53 now, and have had lower back problems since my mid 20s. I have lost jobs because I stay physically fit, so I looked strong as hell, not like the typical severe back pain sufferer you picture; hunched over all the time, wearing a back brace and using a cane. I wasn't in pain all, or even most of the time, but when I was, it was (is) excruciating and almost unbearable pain. I now have arthritis in both disc, and for those who don't have that......let me just say, the disc pain with the addition of the arthritis made me understand why some people in pain think about suicide, and I don't mean that as any kind of joke.

On a much more positive note, my mom recently went through boxes in her attic, and found some of my old things. Amoung those things was a box of comic books that had a couple military files mixed in.The original medical file was in there. It had a additional document that they didn't send when I made my request. The opening statement said, and I quote "This marine was struck in lower back and knocked down by duty van, while bending to pick up trash on police call." No Sh**!!! I now have a claim against the corps, and a great lawyer that took the case with no cash up front, once she read just the opening statement. Anyway, didn't mean to be so chatty, just got more pissed the more that I typed. Hope you find some relief my friend.:peace:
Man.I hope your lawyer makes head way against the sandbagging stonewalling bureaucratic denial that is keeping you from the help you need, I also hope you are compensated big time for the shit you had to put up with and the pain it has caused these past decades.

Hello @trailanimal. Yeah man, they bs'd me pretty bad. My lawyer is a retired J.A.G. officer, and she is no joke. She already said that she has won cases with no evidence, and definitely with no admission of guilt. My file has both. I know this stuff is touchy, and that there are no guarantees, but her track record is great and she rarely takes a case with no upfront cash. By the way, I see that you are a staff member here. I have lurked here for years, but was too paranoid to post. This has been my favorite site by far, because of the members and the staff. Lots of knowledge here without all of the childish extra crap. New growers need that. I just want to contribute what I've learned over almost 4 decades, and to continue expanding my toolbox as well. Thanks for your concern and well wishes brother. :peace:

I knew from the first post i read of yours, you had stuff to teach!! And i believe the best teachers are the guys with their hands getting dirty trying things out...learning through experience, not resurgence of second hand information that may or may not work.

Like i always say "I can only teach, what the plant has taught me, through a couple of decades of growing under the sun"

I cant wait to hear what you think of the guides i wrote. ;)

Broke down today and started using Green PLanet massive(2.5ml per liter), procal(3 ml per liter) ...still waiting on the redline + mother monarch bloom to show. Need to get these deficiencies to stop asap! And they are ready for a higher dose of PK which the massive will take care of until the redline/monarch bloom show....
I noticed some lightening on the light feeder on a couple of leaves mid plant, rest of the leaves are deep green....though she might be sensitive to nitrogen she is needing some more calcium!! She is also getting hit with the pro-cal, base megacrop at 3.5.
@Dabber hit the nail on the head for the need for cal mag...i think 21-25 days is right on the money to start.

hormones trump intelligence:crying:

"I can only teach what the plant has taught me" I like that, man! That describes how I approach this perfectly! I think that has to be the approach. If your goal is to just grow some weed, no problem. You can do a "plug n play" type grow and be in good shape. But, if you have a passion for this, or for whatever, it is impossible to stop learning all that you can about your passion. I don't know who I am when I can't grow. What people that don't grow don't realize is that when you are a serious grower, it's not really at all about the high, it's about the grow; propagation to harvest and everything in between. The high is just the icing on the cake. :peace:

Haha yeah....we are totally on the same wavelength!!

@912GreenSkell I saw some of your work last year. I didn't realize that it was you. I think that you have changed you avatar since then. You use the same bending techniques outdoors that I use inside. I remember a pic of this massive 4 way stalk that looked like it was mainlined pretty early in life and it looked almost forearm sized; if I have the right guy.
