the little french I'm have a question: Apollo 20 is it in your work? or are there better? I try to cover an area (6.56 ft x 14,76 ft)

Looking for that awesome value proposition destined to become obsolete in 6 months

Anyone have a strong opinion on either the Cidly Apollo 6 or Bysen Helios 210W? Not exactly apples to apples but similar and I see people have had good results with both.

A third option I'm looking at is one of the newer integrated LED chips like this one. I like the ability of the integrated LEDs to overlap multiple wavelengths over shorter distances and the high light penetration/watt. Having said that, they're more expensive and both the Apollo and Helios have great track records whereas I haven't seen growers flocking to the integrated chips yet.

I'll be getting couple and putting them in a 4x4 tent with some existing CFL bulbs for side light. First grow will be black kush and ole' reliable northern lights.

All things considered, I'm inclined to go with the Bysen Helios 210W mostly because I've heard good things about the Bysen customer service.

But I also don't know what I'm doing so can easily persuaded...

Thanks to anyone who wants to chime in!

I need a little led guidance folks. I bought those two led's I mentioned earlier in this thread with the intention of putting the green monster in one tent and the yellow one in my small tent. However the yellow one is just a bit to long for my small tent...it fits but its really tight and messing with the airflow. They both will fit great in my new tent. Its a 2x4x5 tent. Just wondering if that would be overkill. The green monster is 288w and the yellow dude is 240w.

Sounds like they will rock that tent mate.you will be hitting about 67w per sq ft which will be nice, and with the green one you have the option to reduce the power if you want by either running veg or bloom alone depending what stage your at. :smokebuds:

Both the yellow one and the green one have the "dimmable" feature. You can run the "growth" spectrum seperate from the bloom spectrum. However the fans only run on "growth" or "mixed" .' The fans DO not run with just the bloom switch on. A flyer that was in the box says both spectrums are required to function properly.

I wasn't aware the fans worked like that mate, thanks  seems like running them on mixed is the way to go and your ladies will love bro :smokebuds:

I plan on starting everything on the "growth" spectrum (fans run with it) just to see how it does over seedlings but being a perpetual grow that will only work once.

I have the green one going in my 4x2x5 tent with two ufos 1x135w(supposedly 85w draw) and 1x90w(supposedly 85w draw also) as side lights. I can tell the difference in intensity of the two but won't know for sure how many true watts they all pull until I get a kill a watt tester. I can now close my tent and temps only reach 83 degrees during the hottest time of day at canopy level, 77 degreeish at rez level. Been running like that since Monday and the two girls I have in there love it. One thing I noticed is they are drinking and eating a lot more since the green machine made it's way in there had to up ec twice already in these few days. I was able to snag it for 200usd shipped on the bay. :peace::toke:

Looks increasingly likely that I'll be getting a couple Cidly Apollo 6s. Price is crazy good. Next up, what spectrum ratio? I saw this one posted by feroled on this thread:

Anyone have an opinion on this? Right on or too complicated?

2 x 6500k (cool white)
3 blues (1 x 430nm, 2 x 455nm)
9 red: (1 x 630nm, 4 x 640nm, 3 x 660nm)
1 infrared (730nm)
