Indoor Leaves yellowing at margins. Tips dying. LOS organics

Man, sometimes these girls can take a turn quick-for the worse. You got it sorted out now, I hope!

Now that I've a little more experience, the utroent ratio for MC does seem a bit weird, especially if one wants to keep away from heavy numbers such as with Bud Explosion.

No, I don't think I have checked out that deficiency resource yet, I'm going to give it a look-see now. Thanks!

MC, seems some peep's dial it in fine, and during veg it seemed great,.. but it's not the first time this has happened with MC with me,... I think the uneven granulation is part of the problem, and because the formulation is so complex and shotgun-blast loaded, the total ppm readings may be deceiving, meaning relatively high for what the NPK and even secondary nutes are in actual content,... that's why I thought the plants were doing OK, but apparently was not quite enough at later stages,.... hence the low reserves and reacted the way they did,...

@Waira
That's some good food for thought. I've seemed to have good luck in the past with it, but who knows... Maybe those cultivars could have been even better, bigger, etc.

I'm not going to take it for granted that MC is the best ever. I do know that I dont want to pay a lot for nutrients. Organic is doing the trick for me right, but I can definitely see trying a hybrid grow, using a small amount of MC when needed. I think at lower concentrations, perhaps since the whole plant isn't riding on those MC nutes... Any deficiency in MC won't have as much of an effect on the plant. It's something I definitely want to look into.

Thanks again for the input. If you dont mind, could you take a look at a couple of my outdoor plants in my main thead? I can't determine if the amount of yellowing I'm seeing is natural. I suspect an N deficiency, but the plant is in flowering stretch right now.

oh, sorry- :rofl:- stoner typing! I was referring to myself mainly,.. I had a great veg, but at transition, they started paling out, then P defc (which MC is weak on).. tell me I was not really feeding enough (N, P came up short) and the plants reserves were low...:face: ... BUT this can apply to anybody using MC!

....posted at your thread too,....

No worries, friend, and I don't think you made any mistake. I'm saying I'm glad for people to question the assumptions I've made. I've heard a lot of good things about MC, but that doesn't mean it's perfect or will work for everyone or every cultivar. We have to questions assumptions!

Just, thanks again for the work and the help you put in here at the forum. I've read a lot of threads, and you show up with help and knowledge in most of them!

Also I wanted to add, in case it's helpful to any reader, when I was running MC, I also applied Bud Explosion at flower. It seemed to work well enough, but like I said, maybe it could have been better! I have little doubt that I was overfeeding a bit, and that some of the crunchy leaves my NL ended up having was a result of the soil being pretty salted up.
