We have seven seasons but they are called different names. The first season is called Snow tire season starts at Christmas, then comes Mud Season which starts tomorrow, it is followed by surpin. That is the season where you make maple syrup. Then you got Bug Season. Which leads up to after Fair. Starts right after first weekend of September after the fair, and includes harvestin season and last cut hayin. Then it is peepers time. That is when all the tourists come ot see the leaves change. Then there is firewood season where you gotta get next years wood cut, skidded and bucked and that leads up to Christmas.

Lol , sounds like where I live . Fall , winter spring , then jump right back into fall . Growing season here is only 4-5 months if you are willing to take the chance with frosts

Yup they come every year in droves. They drive wicked slow and when you are following them from behind you can see their heads going back and forth as the color of the leaves whips them into some kind of gapping frenzy. We also have an American Cup bicycle race the leaf peepers keep the bicyclists on their toes cause they could get killed by them. We kind of get used to tourists here being a major ski hill. In the Snow tire season they walk around the supermarket in their ski boots slipping and sliding. Oh well being a tourist area we have a better selction of restraunts to choose from and the local economy is much better than some of the farming towns close by. A little culture even sneaks in.
