Mephisto Genetics KiS Bio Char Mix Meets Mephisto

I am blessed as I have rain water which is clear, creek water that’s clears river water with sediment and filtered well water - five stage filter with ultra violet light on well so covered summer or winter and all water has ppm 23 or less with PH around 6.5ish to 6.75 - so about as perfect as you can get for water sources .....

Water PH not nearly as critical with Organics as with hydro .... Hydro you better be spot on with Organics 6.25 to 7.0 even 7.25 I think you’ll be fine, especially with bio char soil as soil helps buffer - adjust PH .....

Never ever worried about PH growing Organics, maybe add more peat moss to soil to help bring down but that’s about as far as I’ve ever gone!
Blessed indeed!!! Ph not necessary to a point, but why not get it as close to optimal as possible. I'd have to ph down quite a bit with tap, no adjusting at all with my RO.

Nice plants you have. Yeah I'm definitely grabbing some Mephisto gear when I get paid. Everywhere I turn I'm seeing their gear growing and not just on this site. Once again nice plants buddy :pass:

Thanks Mr. SmokezAlot!!!!

You won't be disappointed with Mephisto.

What cha looking to get?

Update day, woohooo

Chopped the Stardawg, so now we're back to Meph exclusively.

Sour Alien Livers, this gal grew a lot over the week. I tied her top down for a few days, and the lowers responded nicely.

Creme Bubbly, this gal has become the largest of all. No lst really on her, just tucked leaves here and there. Lovely structure naturally.

Purple Nuggets, just a lovely indica gal, and we have purps showing early.

CDLC, the wifes fave. Getting her flower on. She just got moved outside the tent to give her and OD some more room.

Grape Crinkle, flowering and frosting hard.

Ghost Stomper day 54, poor gal just tucked in the corner. She is mostly a main cola, with some really short side branches. Buds look yummy.

Orange Diesel day 54, this gal is the only one showing some fade. I gave her a pre-cooked top dressing and watered it in, not too worried about her making it to the finish line. She smells divine.

Beautiful!

Love the CDLC.

What strain of Stardawg did you just harvest out of interest? (sorry being lazy)

Your OD looks so different to mine, and so much further forward. Wowzer, day 54! Mine is 75 and about where you are bud wise.

I am seriously leaning towards going back to soil and when and if i do im going in this direction!!!

https://www.kisorganics.com/blogs/n...ield-in-a-controlled-environment-for-cannabis

These blog posts (along with the countless hours of podcasts on the topic) started my decision on going with kis organics/similar organic soil builds. Then more and more positives started to show by going organic to where it was really a no brainier for me to make the switch.

I have always been interested in organic growing but it honestly always seemed too much to get the grasp of. Too many bases to cover. Too many hoops to jump through, etc... After listening to a few podcasts, I realized that it would be no harder than growing with salt-based nutrients... actually could be easier and less daily maintenance if you have a good reservoir feeding system setup.

Going organic has basically forced me to become a better grower, all around, not just cannabis. I know more about what plants really need to thrive and how to fulfill their needs by means other than some bottle of "nutrient x,y,z".

Sorry to end like this, but I don't know where else I was headed with this comment lol :baked:

I will be tagging you all along on my first kis run very soon.

Now, not only am I into organic growing, but I am now wanting to make my own worm bin for composting so I can create my own soils/worm castings. I'm getting into growing my own food as well. There are a lot of fun and environmentally friendly aspects of going organic. I love every bit of it so far.

Great looking group of girls

Getting started is the hard part, pretty smooth sail once everything is in place.

Worm bin is probably number 1 thing you can do to greatly improve your LOS adventure. I am excited to get my first harvest in a week or two.:d5:
