Mephisto Genetics KiS Bio Char Mix Meets Mephisto

@Roasty McToasty .... The Purple Nuggets leaves are beautiful, nice work grobro, nice work on her and all your fine looking specimens, your growing skills transferred nicely from hydro to organic - so glad you made the choice to go organic and NO BUGS this round, sweet!

Now, not only am I into organic growing, but I am now wanting to make my own worm bin for composting so I can create my own soils/worm castings. I'm getting into growing my own food as well. There are a lot of fun and environmentally friendly aspects of going organic. I love every bit of it so far.

I hear that ..... I started with vegetables and flowers before I grew my first marijuana plant .... Love playing in the dirt and making things grow, no matter the plant and it’s a bonus when you grow your own!

Peace,
OB

These blog posts (along with the countless hours of podcasts on the topic) started my decision on going with kis organics/similar organic soil builds. Then more and more positives started to show by going organic to where it was really a no brainier for me to make the switch.

I have always been interested in organic growing but it honestly always seemed too much to get the grasp of. Too many bases to cover. Too many hoops to jump through, etc... After listening to a few podcasts, I realized that it would be no harder than growing with salt-based nutrients... actually could be easier and less daily maintenance if you have a good reservoir feeding system setup.

Going organic has basically forced me to become a better grower, all around, not just cannabis. I know more about what plants really need to thrive and how to fulfill their needs by means other than some bottle of "nutrient x,y,z".

Sorry to end like this, but I don't know where else I was headed with this comment lol :baked:

I will be tagging you all along on my first kis run very soon.
Thanks for the links, brother!!! Gonna start studying!!!

The Podcasts are very educational learned a ton from them, even listened to a few several times .... Funny too as I thought the Bug Lady was kinda boring but for @Roasty McToasty he loved the bug lady podcast - so different strokes for different folks and I’m sure you’ll have your favorite as well .....

They can take a lot of things away but not an education, I congratulate you on getting smarter!

Update,

Hubbabubba Haze got the chop, so now down to 7 plants. All have been bottom fed water only for about 2 weeks, brewing a compost tea as I type. That will be ready for tomorrow's a.m. watering.
