yes and no. Making super soil isn't cheap so when compared to that, and the fact you only use a pound per gallon, its not too bad. Yes, still a bit expensive but not unreasonable. And look how much people blow on bottled nutes!!
Factor in nutes cal mag etc vs just water and well it is cheaper I can do 5 plants with 2 bags using 2 pounds per pot and with shipping 10 pounds of kind soil is less then 50 bucks so that is less then 10 bucks per plant.. It's a steal actually..

They do not sell it by the gallon
Well considering the fact that it says one 5 pound bag for 2x 2 gallon pot I'd assume you'd be buying around 4 gallons in total, and I think it was priced out at like 70 or 80 after shipping for me.

The thing with supersoil is the initial investment on nutes. Once it's running and you've got all these amendments left over, you can recycle it a few times before having to rebuy, and even then you'll be able to recycle it more times than with what was left over.

Also if you're doing a supersoil/TLO inground, each year you'll have to add less and less as the soils quality will build up over time.

It is one pound per Gallon pot size I use either 2 or 3 gallon pots and I use a little less cause I am growing autos and they have a shorter life span.. I do not have the time or place to make my own and so this is a great route for me.. And new growers this is perfect for ..

I'm not ragging on the product btw. I'm just saying for me it isn't economically sound. Especially when I can purchase seagrow 4-24-24 for dirt cheap and it'll last me a dozen grows, and it's 100% organic so I won't have to worry as much about not being able to recycle or use that soil later on in a tlo grow b
