Yeah haha, I wonder how Canna is doing around Flint. That reminds me of some study or something I read where the authors found Canna to be very good at "fixing" out radioactive contamination in their environment. I think it was suggesting that canna would be a great fixer for some really troubled spots like Chernobyl and such.

Anyway yeah I'm not messing with RO, being environmentally minded as I am, it doesn't add up for me personally. The only thing I do is, soak seedlings in distilled water, transition them with spring water, and after a couple leaves I transition to adjusted well water. Works for me. Was collecting rain water for awhile and they loved that, but that's not really enviro friendly either..

Yeah, just gotta make do with what we got. Nobody's water is perfect anymore... Maybe a few hundred years ago lol. My well water is pretty straight, just way high pH and a lot of lime and sulfur, it's down to the second aquifer so that water is ancient, hasn't been contaminated with industrials. Maybe a few whacky isotopes lol. I stopped stressing over it and just use Earth Juice to get it to 6.3ish.
oh yeah i mean you can be in areas where they get some amazingly clean fresh water that all growers would die for..like i said before i deal with all kinds of growers in mountains and other areas that have awesome water.. we aren't all that lucky. i mean honestly we suggest well over tap anyway MOST well systems have good clean water. but again theres guys that have bad bacterias in their wells.. massive sulfur amounts .. all kinds of crap IMOP and this is my true personal opinion but if you have good enough water that you drink WILLINGLY :) and know is clean the need to excessively filter really isn't there. carbon filtering or 3 part filters pull a lot of contaminants out. I mean i get the whole water purity thing i don't ever want people here to think everyones tap water is clean and perfect but if your only option is running unfiltered water tap isn't going to make your buds taste like chemicals or become in anyway IN-organic.

have you ever heard about the whole distilled water and pesticide/herbicide thing? having to do with evaporation temps and stuff the herbicides and pesticides have a lower evap temp and they actually evaporate with the water and become even higher in content than before. all that would depend on the water source and the companies running the system i assume but I've read a lot that distilled water can have those issues. What do you think about that one? I'm on the fence about it. it makes sense to an extent

i felt like that was a good point to bring up because a lot of growers use distilled.. so its a good comparison to something like tap water/flouride. if tap containing chemicals make it "in-organic" wouldn't anyone using distilled would be doing the same because distilled isn't actually pure wATER, any chemicals in the water source being distilled that has a lower boiling point would evaporate into the distilling water... maybe this is going to deep into it :) and just to be clear I'm NOT telling anyone to not use distilled growers have been using distilled a long time its just a point to bring up and talk about

:toke: ...:smokeout: what's good tester homies! ... new rounds of babies is what! :woohoo1: Man, that soil was FUBAR, what shitty luck and a total mystery,... first though---

>>> Steps' -- how are the G-Ladies doing? :headbang:

>>> Anthro- :smoking: yes, Carbon 13 right?,... the one that's used in carbon dating,... hey, you know, I thought I saw something on TV a while back on Chernobyl, and the types of plants there that were helping pulls radioactive elements from the soil,... ditch weed might have been one of them? One thing really tripped me out, some of the ponds nearby were loaded with massive fish! .. don't know the number of eyes they had though, just a brief camera shot of them cruising near the surface,...:crying: ...***.... oh my yes, Brim' is quite high, no doubt-:dizzy: Operation dabbification, baby!

>>> :jointman: Okeee, some pics of new bab-bees mates! Only one I had no extra of, the CM, which is still in the crap soil,... AG seeds came late, and one is now potted and will be up in a day or so,.. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I tried transplanting a few of them 2 days ago, plus I wanted to see what the root systems were like... BV got thrashed, but FB and AG made into 32oz cups with new soil blend, and despite the root loss, they seem better looking already... what I saw in the 1gal pots baffled me,... roots made it to the bottom and side, but not in much mass-? truth is, I have little experience with ripping into pots at this stage, so I don't quite know what's normal, or not-- Chime in if you have,... meantime, same line-up re-germ'ed, save the CM, which is replaced by Kalishnapple x Sweet Tooth (Mephisto)... we'll see what the CM does, as it's the best looking out of the original lot,... what a fool I was to wait friends, patience is sometimes not a virtue! The difference is night and day,... mix is half E.B Stone Ultimate (or something like that), and 25/25% seedling starter soil and Tupur, a coco based soil,....

im not arguing that but do you drink your water? i mean lets be realistic all your crops are either fed with much dirtier water than tap correct? some food companies use waste water to feed your food plants.. farms can use ground water but in ground water theres so many other leeching chemicals that can come from surrounding farms and other things that truly effect that water quality.
and on top of that when your growing organic food for human consumptions the water purity levels aren't even put into question its the feeds being used, pesticides etc.. not wether or not there is flouride in the water thats going to your food. I get the argument but you drink that water.. you eat it cause the plants you eat or beef you eat or chicken you eat all use that water. but somehow its a huge no no and makes my cannabis in-organic cannabis? what do all of us use to water our veggie gardens when we haven't had a drop of rain?
trust me i get the argument but its such a far fetch from saying someones cannabis isn't organic because they use tap water... thats just kinda silly..
Its cool @Kindsoil ,
I was just thinking out loud there and not trying to say it cant be organic if using tap water. I understand that a lot of water sources will have some kind of chemical leaching etc. Just wanted to know others opinion on the matter. Sorry if you thought i was trying to start a fuss.

:bong::bong::bong::bravo:Your right it is backwards. hahaha
Smoking to much weed.haha
On the girls there looking so good, today is pic day. I take them on wed. and Sun,and post on sun..
