I dropped another seed… Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl photoperiod! The Alaskan Purple(Seedsman) photo in the scrog2x2 closet is nearing the finish line. Very few clear, mostly cloudy calyx trichs with amber on sugar leaves.

Quick question on watering, once they're transplanted do you continue watering inside the cup, around the outside, or both? I've noticed the soil inside the cup stays wet longer.

Outside cup to promote root expansion. I water in a ring about 1-1.5 inches from final pot edge

Discovered algae in my reservoirs and I’ve had ph flux, thought it was a deficiency. I have an apera ph meter kit and ph up/down on order. Old Vivosun meter shot and no longer trustworthy! To combat the algae I will be using black duct tape to eliminate as much of a light source as I can. Buckets for reservoirs are white which lets light filter through promoting growth and ph also can add to this as well. Day 58 for sorbet dreams, day 38 for Midwest widows, and the Durban sunrise is around 35. Durban sunrise is in a 4 gal bucket peat based soil and seems to be doing good. Awaiting tester seeds for the solo cup challenge but ready as I can be!

On another note, the Alaskan Purple in the 2x2 closet is doing fine and nearing the end of the road. Putting some fade on!

Seedstockers Candy Dawg update:
After a 6 day dry time in 60degF and 55% H she got separated to smaller buds and weighed… 80grams! Man, I wish she had been healthy the whole grow… I am convinced I would’ve hit a QP with her… or over! Still happy with the outcome and the aroma is just wonderful! Very sweet, gassy candy-ish smell… like sweet tarts on steroids. Or pixie sticks. Once I get the issues hashed out in the tent I’ll be growing another on of these for sure!

Also dropped the Mars hydro TS 1000 to about 14” above the Alaskan Purple Scrog girl. As you can see from previous post she’s getting ready, I just wanna fatten her up a little more… I like em thick!

Wasn’t fast enough to plant the gorilla girl and she drowned… so Tuesday I dropped another seed. A JEAN-O’s genetics Spice Cake photoperiod. She cracked open this afternoon and was promptly planted into a insta-transplant solo cup and put under my custom built mini QB in the 30”x30”x almost 30” veg cabinet under a power-ade half bottle dome. 24/0 for now. Going to install pulleys so I can adjust lights easier… as soon as AP is ready to harvest.
