Nice Jp She is looking very nice.Update- I have decided that she will be harvested Friday morning. Trichs are pretty much where I want them... like 1% or less clear, 7% amber, and 92% cloudy. That was last night when I checked them. That gives her 36 hrs to do whatever she’s gonna. I will be dropping seeds tonight for my next big adventure! Keep your eyes peeled!
Not sure I’m going to do that this time... from what I’ve been reading, trichomes develop as a defense to infrared and uv light and if there is no light then the trichomes would not be performing their duties. Is this theory correct? I know we used to harvest the OD girls at night but I considered that a stealth thing... what do you think @Growtogrow ?Nice Jp She is looking very nice.
Do you practice the harvesting technique of 24 or 36 hour's Dark period before harvesting?
Well I'll tell you... I've been practicing the dark thing for a long time. I don't know how many years many.. I guess. We never knew if it was really true or not about it creating something better by doing it..... The guy I work for he does it with his large commercial crop. And all his commercial Grow Buddy's all do it as well....Not sure I’m going to do that this time... from what I’ve been reading, trichomes develop as a defense to infrared and uv light and if there is no light then the trichomes would not be performing their duties. So while back I had this discussion with another guy... I read it elsewhere but this is what I found a year or so ago. that is probably more conclusive than the study I read....way back when...lolView attachment 1300563View attachment 1300564View attachment 1300565

So yes it's pretty conclusive that it does something.
