Live Stoner Chat Just a spot to bs about motor sports

I'm pleased with the 205hp but not too keen on the lack of torque. I forget how many ft/lbs it is but it's a little weak in that regard. After hearing your testimonial about your buddy's grandfather, I suppose I'm not too old for mods. However, they'd need to be stealthy because I'm all done with people trying to race me because they see what I'm driving. One of the things I like most about the TSX is that it kind of blends in with all the other cars. Not that it doesn't have its own unique style but after driving so many BMWs for so many years I got tired of the unsolicited races that often presented themselves on the roadways. I think if I were to do any upgrades that I'd do a reflash and then put a box of Kleenex and an 'old man hat' in the back window just to let people think that I'm really old and not interested in racing.
There is a cool bolt on supercharger that was tested on a stock tsx which woke it up I believe it was computech obviously not something u can see or hear and tbh I don't care for racing people unless on a track not that I don't get any and every idiot from cars that would be worth racing and others that arnt not saying I never drive spiritedly but I generally run 5 over or follow traffick it's funny everyone slows down for corners and now I can just maintain the speed the most fun I have is around 40mph late on back roads through corners is fun maybe seeing one person the whole time and remember it's not how fast it is it's about fun to drive for you I accelerate to the speed limit multiple times a day like on ramps ect most cars even supposed fast cars are terrible aero wise anything over 100mph in most cars the air going under car is actually pushing the car up which make handling horrible on top of the unknowns. I had 2 friends die street racing neither wanted to loose car was coming my friends where slowly pulling on him thinking the guy next to him would've let off he went to move for the on coming car but they made contact with end results were the passenger side where the driver should be so I totally get wat ur saying. My ideal tax is .5in lower with the oem honda optional lip otherwise it would look stock outside but I would run a rotax supercharger kit with a stock 3in muffler from a different stock car so it flows better but is super quiet that's way I'm trying to figure out now I run a silencer in my 2.5in till I go to tracks which is how I ran my 3in system on my 96 ej8 civic coupe. Anyway take a look at the accord euro r that's the tax everywhere but the U.S. basically lol.

I had a white knuckler yesterday on my Road King. I was passing a slow vehicle with my wife on the back and when I let off the gas it stayed wide open. After some clutching and hitting the off switch I pulled in to a lot and did not have the tools for an along side the road repair. After calling a buddy to get it home the two small screws that hold the throttle body to the intake fell out and the o ring seal went with them. There was just enough of a gap to cause the king to run right at the rev limiter.

I've had throttle stick wide open on a few occasions it's not a fun time that is for sure it's scary especially how/when/where it happens glad u and ur wife are ok some people would have panicked and crashed or caused an accident so it's good to here there are people who think even in sketchy circumstances.

Calling it a sport is a stretch. Maybe a past time, kinda like golf. Or hunting.
If I drove u around a track for a few hrs I bet you would change your mind quick just like when I thought quads and dirt bikes not being a sport till I actually started riding I use to ride but the skill and endurance you have to physically have to run @ the edge is no joke. When I rode quads competitively by the time the day was done you were exhausted from throughing a 350lb machine around all day and honestly it's same with a car except it's throwing you around. Now if your talking about the average person driving or riding then ya not a sport but when you have to train as hard or harder than martial arts or baseball basketball ect then I would have to say it's a sport in my book.
