Hello everyone I am starting this thread for the Dinafem fast version Quick Kush, and HSO Fast version Green Crack and OGKZ. I was gifted some seeds at the end of last season from @Dinafem-Mark , @HSO-Mark to try out this year and hopefully beat out the crappy Michigan flowering season outdoors. I am well underway with the outdoor grow and got a bit of an idea in my head that I wanted to run the same strains inside to see how they do indoor vs outdoor. A little background about myself first is that I have been growing traditionally as an outdoor grower for 22 seasons or years now. I started out as a gorilla grower working in corn fields and river banks for quite a while and roughly 15 years ago I got a medical card and started to grow a bit indoors ( never having a hole lot of success for a while) so I started to look for property I could start a small family farm on. 5 years ago I found the property I own now and started a full sun outdoor grow. Over the past 5 years I feel I have transitioned into a Monster outdoor full sun grower and have been honing my skills as a big grower ever since. I have also over the last 5 years gotten into growing the Autoflowers indoors and have stepped up my indoor growing skills to a decent level ( I am still much better at growing outdoors). My prefered style of growing is all organic, using Happy frog fruit and flower dry amendments, Mykoes, earth juice bloom part b, black molasses, neptune's harvest crab and lobster shell, and liquid kelp. The outdoor grow pen I have is roughly a half acre that is full sun all day and I do till up the land every year and I put down a layer of straw for moisture retention. I add my old dirt and compost the grow area every fall and spring with grass clippings and weeds from the yard. I plant on an old river bank that has a creak flowing bye it which I like to collect my water out of. My indoor grow set up is a 2x4x5 ft yield lab grow cab in my bedroom closet which has been perfect for my autoflower works. It is powered with 2 1,000 watt H&Grow triple chip full spectrum LED's and 1 500 watt philzon cree cobb LED with some supplemental 15 watt side lighting led's. The true watt draw from the wall for the grow is 575 true watts. I prefer to use 3 gallon fabric pots that I fill with Pro Mix HP for medium indoors and cut it pretty heavily with perlite and clay pellets for maximum drainage. I use the same amendments indoors as I do outdoors and pretty much water only every day with no run off and every sunday I feed.
So lets jump right into this grow and get started!!!
The outdoor girls were started back in February on about the 10th and were vegged slowly under a 15 watt led for the first month because of space issues I have indoors.

Outdoor Fast Flowering Green Crack (Auto)
  • Day 78 from seed and roughly 2 weeks into flowering. She is a decent sized plant roughly 2 ft tall and just over 3 ft wide. Hopefully Ill get a little bit more stretch out of her but I had topped and trained her very much like a photoperiod so Im not sure how the yields will be. She has a very nice pine skunk smell so far and is super frosty... I now have well over 16 hours of sunlight in my full sun grow outdoors..
Nice looking buds on her so far though Fucker was too fast and missed the part where it was supposed to be a photoperiod though!

Close up frosty bud shot on her!

@HSO-Mark if you want to pass along how this journey goes to HSO this will be the best place to get the info from the indoor and outdoor test on these....

    Outdoor OGKZ #2
  • Here is the outdoor OGKZ#2 and it also to me appears to be a full auto now at day 78 only a week behind the green crack actually.... She has a few nice frosty top buds already and smells super tropical already. This one is a bit bigger but was topped just a few days ago before I noticed it looked to be flowering. Hmmmm?

    Dinafem Outdoor Blue Widow
  • Dinafem Blue Widow Outdoor 118 days from seed and she is putting on some stretch looking real good nice and thick! I am very happy with this plant so far and I am impressed with Dinafem and their genetics... She will be 4 ft tall when she reaches the trellis netting above her the cage is just over 3ft so hopefully she will reach the net in the next week!

Starting to get a decent sized stalk on her!

    Dinafem Quick Kush
  • Day 118 from seed Dinafem Quick Kush is the fist to touch my 4 ft trellis net... This plant is a beast so far! Could very well end up being the monster plant I was looking for this year!
    DSCN1217.JPG

I cant wait to start weaving this plant in the net and get her nice and wide! Ive been trying hard this year to keep ahead of the game on the work that needs to be done.... Last year I fell behind on maintenance and never was able to get caught up...

    HSO Fast Green Crack Indoor
  • HSO Fast Green Crack day 31 from seed and day 6 since I flipped to flower schedule. Its not going to show anything about if it would have flowered if I had let it continue to veg I could pull it out of the 12/12 light scedule after a few weeks in flower to see if it continues to flower or reveges to see if it is an auto.... I had one of the breeders at Groweres Choice Seed Co tell me to do that with an autoflower that was not autoflowering and it actually worked triggered the flowering on it and put it back under veg conditions and it continued to flower...

    Dinafem Blue Widow
  • Blue WIdow day 56 from seed and 6 days into flower she is my favorite indoor and out. Something about the structure of this plant is just what I am looking for!

    Dinafem Quick Kush
  • Day 56 from seed and she is looking very nice. Something weird I noticed about this strain from dinafem or at least the seeds I got did not like to be supercropped at all... I had issues with a few branches I tried this technique on and they did not make it. Possibly because of how stretchy and rubbery the plant is IDK..

Front plant is the quick kush back plant is Awayawasca Purple....

    Indoor Harvest Results
  • So things busy and I didnt get to finish the indoor grow the way I had wanted to no pics of the harvest which kinda sucks but I will get some dry flower pics up here soon. I do however have some harvest results I can post.

HSO Fast Green Crack- 8 weeks in flower (could have went 9 weeks easily) 63 grams of dried flower was the end yield
The smell and taste is very sour and super strong she is quite loud on the nose.
Effects are mellow and uplifting a good day time smoke not super strong but creative.
The flowers were super dense and frosty and the grow was super easy.

Dinafem Quick Kush- 8 weeks in flower (I feel this was spot on for my grow) 40 grams of dried flower end yield
Smell and taste is like candy its very sweet with a little bit of lemony gas
The effects are strong and heavy. It has a good couch lock effect and good body buzz.
The flowers were super dense and super frosty she did not stretch much during the pre flower stage and stayed quite small and late in flower she had some spots of PM show up on her. I would say she was for a skilled grower and not a super easy grow as she also was sensitive to nutrients.

Dinafem Blue Widow- 9 weeks in flower (Probably should have done 10) 80 grams of dried flower
The smell and taste is soft and floral with a hint of something sweet. You can taste both the blueberry and white widow in her for sure.
Effects are calming and enjoyable if you want to kick back and relax. Its a good rainy day or lazy weekend smoke for sure.
The flowers were pretty big and stacked up solid. She was an easy grow and did a small stretch during pre flower but was not super aggressive. She did however build nice long colas and put on quite a bit of weight for a small plant.

    Outdoor HSO Fast Green Crack
  • So far this is my favorite from the outdoor FV'S I did. All of them were amazing despite some of the issues I had with them. The FV Green Crack outdoor ended up very fruity and gassy. The indoor was very sour to me very good both indoor and outdoor and good yields with both. Outdoor she is looking to be close to a LB plant which isnt too bad for a small plant that I had issues with. I would say I am very happy with my end results outdoors with the FV Green Crack. I will try to post some actual weights from the OD GC after a full dry n cure here in a few weeks... Hopefully ill remember and have time to snap a few pics of the dry bud shots.
