Finally see a few tiny white pistils. Could probably veg another week, but I'd like these to finish by the end of January so I think Ill start bloom nutes tomorrow.
Thought I could save some time+water by switching to half RO and half tap water. Instead, it's been a bitch to adjust PH.
I might try doing 1/4 tap water next time, maybe the ph will settle in a better range?
Well the part tap water experiment has been annoying. Have to ph down every 12 hours. I get it to around 6.2-6.3 but it's always rising to 6.8 by next fertigation. Ill just use RO from now on, seems more ph stable.
There's some slight leaf symptoms in the front one, but nothing major. Both look pretty good. Haven't defoliated yet either...
Res change plus plain water this am. Still running @0.9mls/liter (EC is 631 now, after switching back to pure RO). Going through nearly 10 gallons every 5-6 days now. Temps seem to be holding despite cold outdoor temps. Getting more frost/ice accumulating outside around the vent. Might try running the extractor continuously ( or dial down the humidity controller so it runs more continuously?). No major issues so far!
Not sure wtf is up with the front plant. Ph has been in range, Ive started plain watering every 3rd fertigation (like remo recommends). They are both fed off the same reservoir, so Im not sure why the other is less affected. Is this an actual deficiency? Yellowing/browning seems to be worse on the middle leaves and up top. Light too strong? I did ramp it slowly up to 725ppfd over a week but lowered it to around 620ppfd as these symptoms cropped up. Once again, issues crop up for me around 3rd week of flower, despite being very vigilant with the ph. Pretty annoying to say the least. As for the other plant, it looks better, but going slow...
Defoliated them last night. Been having issues with fungus gnats for a couple weeks, but have sticky traps and gnat nix en route.
Based partly on advice from the infirmary, It seem like a deficiency. I change res to 1.2mls/liter which gives an EC of 859.
Hopefully they aren't too fussy.
