New Grower It's beginning to get exciting

I would give it maybe a week and a half more... but that's just me. I'm going to post my LST later on tonight or tomorrow, I've got a link to my grow below. I changed my method and I like it a lot more now

Nice looking Set Up Bro! I share your concerns with LST. I have 5 Baby girls right now that are 22 days old and I believe I may run out of vertical space as well. I am at the point of making the decision before vertical growth explodes but worry about bending my stems as they seem rather stiff. Good Luck with your decision.

Cheers StarLord! My plant is on its 10th day. There was another chap on here growing the same strain who began LST at around 11-12 days. I guess it's best to start training earlier rather than later before the stems become too thick, but i've opted to wait a bit longer still at 15 days to see what she's looking like. Good luck with your girls too!

Roots are more flexible than stems, depending on your growing medium, you might be able to push the whole plant over at he soil line, ive done that before outdoors where I dont want TALL plants to be seen, plants dont seem to mind.

Day 11

I've noticed from the start that the leaves exhibit patches of paler green. Is this anything to be concerned about? I've tried to illustrate this in the pics particularly the first. I've seen a deficiency chart somewhere that explains numerous visual symptoms, but can't remember where.

On a different note, I'm thinking of getting an inline filter that I can mount outside the tent, which will free up sufficient space I think to forego any LST other than pruning the odd fan leaf here and there. I read the grow diary of a very respected grower, TaNg, who was growing the same strain. He barely trained the plant other than pruning. What an inspiration that guy is! :D

Would putting an elbow on your filter, allowing you turn it sideways, let you raise your light more? As for LST, I put a 8 inch long pipe cleaner into the soil an inch or so beside my sprouted seed when planting her. After 4 sets of leaves develop, I start bending her over holding her down by forming the pipe cleaner. Once the axillary branchs start getting some length, I drop in SCROG net and keep pulling all the growing points down under the net until she goes into flowering, then let all the growing points start growing up in a flat even canopy. My tent is 60 inches tall, and this works good for me. I use 3 gallon pots and t5 lighting. Good luck with your grow, looking good.

Well it's a square tent, and the light reflector is also pretty much square so moving the filter round wouldn't free any space.

It's also occurred to me that you can't mount a filter outside tent. It has to be in the tent. Bit of a blonde moment there!

I'll just bend her over, without wishing to sound rude! Haha!

Cheers bud!

She's looking a bit sorry for herself this morning. Looks droopy/saggy after 6 hours in darkness overnight. Let's see tonight :(
