New Grower It's about time..Dutch Passion and ChilLED grow light

Day 6 for Dutch Passion Ultima

My family went to Kansas City, MO to see the Solar total Eclipse. We were unable to see the sun due o the heavy overcast in the area. We were in the "path" so it really got about as dark as night and that was real neat. I hope you all enjoyed this one. The next will be 2024 for us here in the USA.

I returned yesterday late in the afternoon. I went down to the garden and found both of my Royal Queen Northern Lights had decided to die and wither away. They both were fried and had given up the good fight. When I pulled up the roots I saw a tiny root system about 1.5" inches wide and deep. Not a good thing after 2 weeks.

As I believe we make our own reality I should have known that my title said "Dutch Passion" and as it was written so it became a ALL Dutch Passion grow.

The really great news is the DP Ultimate that just broke ground on the 17th is alive and doing great. It looks like it is thriving. The two DP Colorado Cookies are also doing great. One of these was really larger than all of the others and so it remains the bully-ette of the three. The other DP CC looks like it was going to be fried also but keep fighting and I hope it will continue.

I fead both the DP CC on Tues the 22nd. They got the ten day feed. The Ultimate was fead also but with the 5 day feed. I am NOT looking/checking the PH levels. As Hans never worries about it I will do the same.

I have lowered the lights to 24" and raised the Bully-ette up four inches so all are on the same level. "Scottie" is at 100% strength at Veg. I will watch, as I will be home for a week or more, to see if they continue to love the power.

At this time I have decided to let these three grow and not drop anymore beans.

I must confess that the failure of the others not to survive is my 100% my incompetence NOT to do things as they were needed to be done. I got sloppy on the initial PH on the coco and on the first water feeding. Mea Culpa, mea Culpa...........

I have now gotten the syringes, Thank you @SPZ, so I can put the right amount in each. Also instead of mixing one liter at a time, I have gone to making one batch. My PH down is White distilled Vinegar and boy a little goes a long way. So I really got low on the ph. As I did not have PH UP, I tried to add more water............. Please do not try this at home. Plus I will vape after mixing NOT BEFORE. It is always the simple things that will do me in.

As with any journey there are f...ups and lord know how I like to be casual. This lesson is learned.

Thank you for dropping by. As you read this is a trial and error for me. Right now it seems like compounding errors :: All of the error were self inflicted. Royal Queen and Dutch Passion have the genetics and I am killing some.

The light is really cool and is doing a great job. I just need to dial it in and make it shine .

I am believing that I will have a full tent in the weeks ahead. I am visualizing it now. All together FULL TENT. repeat for the next 29 years FULL TENT.

You'll get it figured out for your environment, things will improve with each grow. I'm no help here as I like my soil and the never ph method. These fellas will guide you well I'm sure.

The only thing I smoked was a little tester of the blueberry in the vape after she finished drying. Since I hadn't smoked in nearly 25 years, I wanted to take it easy, so I took two good rips and then stopped. It was a good head buzz for an hour and a half, then it moved down into the body for a good two and a half hours before knocking me out for the night. Tasted like weed with the slightest hint of weed, finishing with weed on the back of the palate.

The THC levels have climbed and climbed over the years, and nowadays stuff offered on the low end would have been considered top notch primo shit back in my high school days. It's crazy and wonderful!
