Hey guys, title and picture self explanatory.

had huge PH sways to begin with, they've now been stable for about a week though (5.6-5.7) and EC 0.5 (Canna Rhizo, silica, Canna vega,). Didn't add any CAL and water comes out at EC 0.2 or less so maybe it's a deficiency? Added Cal MAg (5ml) about 24 hours ago and no difference.

In addition to you diagnosing what's wrong could you prescribe a solution? I'm guessing the 8 step. IS it worth doing with a plant 2/3 weeks old?

Peace out dudes (and thank you)!

if your run of ph is fine now, and have been for a week like you say. then i would guess and hope for a cal/mag def.

if you added it 24 hours ago i would give her some more time to let her soak up the neuts. ur using soil, right? it uses some time to attract the neuts.

worst case, a flush might be a idea... it`s all worth it if you ask me, as long as we can keep them ladies alive :High 5:

dont take my words for 100% brother... im not that into soil and there are alot of guys/gals here that knows more about this than me. i`l se if i can get someone to step on in :smokebuds:

Thank you man, the poor plant, the PH was going up 1.0-1.5 per DAY to start off with. I'm thinking this has f***** it.

She's in Hydro dude. I'm starting to think a flush is worth it too, but I'll give it another 24 hours. The newer leaves are starting to get the same thing!

It'd be a shame to abandon this one, the roots are going crazy and apart from this issue she's growing fast!

oh sry. alittle fast reading :Stones slap:, and i ofc now see its in the hydo section ^^ hang on bud, someone will help you with their knowledge :smokebuds: i`l share one with u while waiting :stylez rasta smoke:

No problem man, any attempt to help me out is appreciated. :smokebuds:

Hi Olly, if that damage is caused by pH lockout (probably is) then you will only see some improvement on the new leaves. Those old ones will stay like that. Don't worry because this has happened to me a couple of times and it made no difference whatever to the final crop (assuming you fixed the pH problem!). In a few days those bottom leaves will wilt and you can remove them, you will see the benefits of your correction in the new growth. I think this is fairly common and nothing to worry too much about.

Are you using the Canna grow guide for feeding? I also use Canna, no major problems so far and I found the pH remains fairly stable, between 5.6 and 6.0 without much control from me. Make sure you calibrate the pH meter regularly! My pH problems have always been due to incorrect pH readings ^^

Hope this helps, peace

PS I congratulate you on going straight to hydro, in hindsight I wished I'd done the same and never bothered with soil. Hydro with only one plant is easy and a great way to practice for larger grows later ^^

Thanks for the info smokyD! Nute lockout seems most likely at this stage. I've done a res change today so I'm hoping a clean slate will bring a better couple of weeks. Cheers!
