Looks like reflowering, getting close to harvest?

The terminology kind of differs/interchangeable but foxtailing is usually due to stress whereas reflowering tends to happen one or more times typically with sativas. I've had certain photo strains that would do this 2-3 times in a cycle in the last few weeks then they would begin to fade

I'm coming up on week 10, wish I could say I was soon going to harvest, but they are still sprouting white pistils and no amber trich's as of yet on the buds. So my best guess is another 2-4 weeks.

Yeah it foxtailing but its neat foxtailing, I always get it near the end,
Light Stress & too much nutes with Nitrogen in it i believe are the 2 main reasons for it happening

Raise your light or dimm the brightness to see if it stop new white pistols forming.
A plant in my last grow fox tailed and it was pretty obvious because no colas formed. Instead, I got what looked like a Thai stick (if that's still a thing) but with regular cannabis flowers. The flowers never turned into nugs.

When I look at the picture from the OP, those look like large colas that are well formed and don't look like the mess that I created. Why are those fox tailed instead of being just regular colas?

Thanks in advance.

:pop: I think your real close how far away and how much light? I thought the same with my anvil but she is switching color fast.

i don't think that is quite foxtailing yet. just buds sights stacked tight tight

I'm running 5-100 watt led boards (Groplanner) at 85% and 18" away. Manufacturer recommends 100% @ 12-16" away, but two previous grows resulted in completely fried cola leaves. But I also had a lot of deficiency issues with them grows, so i am not sure if the leaves fried from too strong of a light, or possibly a nutrition issue that made them light sensitive.
These present light settings do give me a 42 DLI reading with the Photon app.

This is about that time of the year when it can get absolutely brutal. Took me a few years to get a grip on it without too much issue. Before that, I would just grow photo trees outside for fun and ditch growing autos inside until fall.

Run your lights on an opposite schedule so that they're off during the hottest part of the day. Run your lights a little higher/dim them a little. And figure out a way to raise the humidity to match the higher temps.

I'll take late flower foxtailing and rock hard buds any day.. fair trade. put her in a corner when the pistols recede and let her finish :smoking:
