Honestly you don't need any bigger rock wool cubes, if you already have the small 1.5" seed starter type. After the seed sprouts in those plant it into the hydroton. I do the same thing, except I use rapid rooters.

you keep asking the same question ..is this all I need? if you go to my deep water journal I list everything you need (I thought you already researched it, didn't I mail you the checklist) if not take a look at it and follow the check list and you be fine ...if you don't follow it to the 'T' who knows you may fail?..if you don't have enough cash for the initial layout hold back untill you do .... better then to waste your 3-4 months and not get a monster plant in the end ... you don't have to follow my way of growing but it works! :check: :check: :check:

okay well i'm pretty damn sure this is all that i'll need until the bloom stage which of course i'll be getting the stealth hydro bloom, liquid karma, and all that good stuff.
yeah I guess I dont but like bud head said if I dont follow his layout to a "T" I might mess it up so that is what I'm doing because I'm not an experienced dwc grower or even an experienced grower in general but with his journal I should be fine.

just follow the formula ...I laid the process out pretty good for newbies and all, make sure you have everything you need before you start! your on a good start! use the nutrient checklist! stealty hydro and botanicare products are all that I use it will cost a little in the beginning but at the end you may get around $3000 or more worth of 'product' @ $300 an oz (that's a low figure maybe $400 an oz) not saying you should sell it but I'm talking if you had to buy it ...unless your insurance $5.00 co-pay will cover it
Yeah that's the whole reason I started growing I could be spending a few hundred dollars on a grow and get more than a few ounces off of it when a few hundred dollars on the street could only get an ounce or even less. But I plan on ordering all of my bloom products that I'll need 2 weeks into the grow so if it takes 2 weeks to get here at least it won't start flowering until week 4 or so.

did you order all the supplements I listed (botanicare products) you can order the small 8 oz. bottles for now if your close to the end of your budget
not yet but I will soon. I have botanicare grow, silica blast, and cal mag. All i need is the sweetner, liquid karma, hydroplex, aqua shield, and stealth hydro bloom. Once I get that I will have everything I need to make some godzilla buds! I'm going to get the 8 oz bottles like you said because i'm at the end of my budget and i'm only growing one plant anyway. I just got back from walmart I picked up a few sun shields for only $4 each which is pretty damn cheap so I'm pretty happy about that!

good! ....you don't need the hydro plex till flower stage a can get by without the botanicare grow, that will save you a little bit of cash
I'll post up a picture of how my set-up will look like in a bit. Hopefully I have enough reflective material because I know that's pretty important when it comes to your end yield but I think I should be fine. I have it pretty jerry rigged haha
