I been keeping my PPFD around 475. Am I correct that it's time to start working it up over 600 into flower power lighting?

How old are they? And it looks like they are starting to pre flower! Also I would go with the manufacturers specifications for the height that you should keep it above your canopy. 12/12 light schedule is what you should be using.

Why 12/12? Are these photos?

Sorry, I guess I should have said their autoflowers. No 12/12 for these girls.
Thier 4 week old auto's, and this grow I'm playing around with light settings based the PPFD/PAR. Its my 2nd grow with this light, So I'm also attempting to learn my lights abilities.

From what i have read its best to switch to 12/12 because thats what the genetics are. plants go into flower better with shorter lighting 12-12

Maybe your not familiar with autoflowers? The normal is 18/6 but some folks will run longer hours based on needs such as myself when I need some extra heat in the winter. I have also seen breeder recs for 20/4 on autos.

12/12 is what triggers Photoperiod plants to flower.

You are correct when it comes to traditional photoperiod plants, but this is not the case with autoflower strains.

I’m learning a new light and pushing the ppfd to 600-800+ since week 3. Not saying it is what you should do, just saying ur plants can take it. Assuming environment is within specs.
