Hi AFN i was wondering about something thats starting to bother me. Im growing a female Pandora its 28 days old now and the leafs are starting to touch the edges of my closet wich is a white Ikea closet thats got a veneer on it or something i don't think its actualy painted white but its very bright in there and seems to reflect pretty well. It's 15 inches x 20 inches and about 6 foot tall.
If i was to just let it grow wild would i encounter any issues with the leafs pressed up against the closet? I was visualising it and i was thinking maybe the leafs perspiring could cause condensation to build in the small gap between the leafs pores and the walls of the closet if left to its own devices and be a mould risk. Could i just make sure humidity is below a certain level with good circulation or would that not be good enough? My humidity is now hovering around 70% with the closet door shut and a small PC venting air out. Im using a lavalamp i got for christmas to heat it up in there because the temps dropping below 20c sometimes.

70 % rh is ok for vegging but when she starts to form buds it should be around 40 to 45 %.I wouldn't worry about the leaves touching the walls as long as you have good air circulation. You could remove a few fan leaves later if she really gets crowded .

If you can, I'd like to see a pic.

With that humidity, I'd prune. Just to be on the safe side. Just take out the offending leaf, or even part of the leaf. I usually grow the bushy ones, and always trim the low leaves. That opens up the plant to more ventilation, as well as the soil.

My plants are basically pressed in my closet and i dont experience any problems of mold or condensation. I dont think it is necessary to remove these leaves but as with anything better save than sry

The red glow coming from the back corner is the lavalamp im using to heat up the closet. i reckon when i install my fan and carbon filter im gonna need something to increase the heat in there a little. I was thinking of adding in a couple of low wattage CFL's to the bottom corners of the closet to warm it up and give it a bit of extra bottom/side lighting.

I don't think it will be a problem. I had 2 photo plant's that filled my cab to the brim.also,I don't know if it's the lighting in the picture's but it look's like you have a deficancy of some type, maybe mag def. it's the last pic that has me concerned.here's a link that might help. https://www.autoflower.org/f74/self-diagnose-your-plants-basic-deficiencies-list-11.html hope this help's

Yeah it's lack of magnesium and calcium i think. It happened to 2 leafs at 12 days old and i gave it magne cal+ and it sorted it then i gave it plain water and it came back again. Gave it more magne cal+ and it fixed it.......until i gave her plain water again lol. I learned my lesson now and going to feed it magne cal+ with every watering. The soil i suspect is also maybe a tiny bit rich for it as it is a mix of 60% plant magic soil supreme and 40% biobizz allmix. I can see a couple of leafs that have been deformed and it looks like the nitrogen claw to me. They are very healthy and dark green but just a messed up shape. It only effects like 1 or 2 leafs though so im not too concerned i'll just make sure to make a lighter mix of soil next time especialy if im growing the same strain. I've not been feeding her at all so far but was going to slowly introduce molasses now that she's starting to smell alot more and produce the white hairs.

I was thinking cal/mag but I'm too new to this so better to suggest a reference than to try and sound like I know anything lol. keep it up they are looking good

Im new too and i have noticed another feature i don't know if its related to magnesium or calcium, its like the tips of the newest leafs are yellow/orange but they grow out of it its only when very young and just the very tip of the leafs. Anyone know if this is the same thing or another issue?
