Dutch Passion Iriee's DP Auto Glueberry Grown in DWC

Thanks Med! Yeah, I already see that they want to be wider than the ANQa were. That’s why it’s strategic defol for now. I may top again depending how quickly they grow. Later in a couple weeks, the stem trainers will come out. I will supercrop from there. Listening to the plants, bro!

Day 17

Just gave them their first real reservoir change. I did top off last week to get the ppms up to 660. The ppms are a cool 700 to start this week off with.

I have been following the script from my last grow up until this point. Last time, I tied the plants down right about now. With the way these plants are growing, they are spreading naturally already. I think I will hold off on tying them down, and just plan on stem training and supercropping to shape and develop that flat wide canopy structure that I strive for.

I topped once a week ago, and have since been strategically defoliating to keep the middle as open as possible, and allow more budsites to reach the light and stretch. I will be continuing this treatment until I have the length to start stem training. I am not going for a small many tops as last time, but want longer and denser buds. Trying to improve with each grow.

So far so good...

Thanks Auto! I really love the natural structure too. Wide and bushy! Looking forward to see what they do also, man! Stay tuned...

Looks awesome! Is hydroponics expensive? Was thinking about switching eventually so I don't half to smuggle in dirt anymore lol.

I don't find it to be any more expensive. I mean it's really just water and nutes, and I see a lot of folks using some really cheap nutes and having good grows. Advanced Nutrients is a bit more expensive, but I have never had to think of using Cal Mag, even though I grow DWC under LEDs. I have never had any nutrient based deficiencies or toxicity. Plus I rarely if ever need to adjust Ph. Really, the only things I have to really dial in each grow are temp and humidity, and managing the height of my plants. To me, that peace of mind, is worth a few dollars per grow.

Wow Iriee — really looking super fine in there. Each grow better than the last. Those little ladies are just the finest things. Really pretty — seriously — upscale flower child wedding bouquet type pretty. They’ve got it going on!

Hey DG! Thanks man! that's great to hear! Trying to keep them pretty for lighting battle purposes. I find myself refraining from defoliating and LST as I might otherwise be inclined to do! I kind of like the challenge. Thanks for encouraging me to join the competition!
