Dutch Passion Iriee's DP Auto Glueberry Grown in DWC

Hey DG! Thanks man! that's great to hear! Trying to keep them pretty for lighting battle purposes. I find myself refraining from defoliating and LST as I might otherwise be inclined to do! I kind of like the challenge. Thanks for encouraging me to join the competition!

It is true that winning the contest is really a beauty contest. Don't let your yield suffer for the contest it is not worth it. Think about this say you win 5 seeds worth $50. If you lose 1/2 oz. because you changed grow styles you lose! Competitions are more about getting new and potential growers to see different styles side by side and help them get started.

Haha! Although I’m starting to regret that now! :crying:

@davisgirl admit it you would be doing what you are already doing even without the contests. You love growing as much as I do.

Yes, I love growing and I’d still be doing the same thing contest or not. But I’m a competitive thing and dammit Iriee’s plants look better! Not just a little better —- really really better. <stamps foot> :haha:

I agree, man. I am not planning on sacrificing any weight. I need this grow to produce the hybrid smoke that I have run out of since I have now finished my original GG buds, I need every ounce I can get. But I do want them to be aesthetically pleasing, also! Yeah, I am not after any more seeds! I have too many right now!

Remember the story about the tortoise and the hare? Well, I don't want to be that guy!

Haha! I know that story. Your plants will always be prettier for reasons I hope to learn sooner than later. In the meantime I’ll keep putting out huge sloppy bud spewing beasts.

Btw — picked up a huge deal on ball half gallon jars — 6 for $20 on Amazon, must be a pricing error if anyone wants the link.

Iriee have you started the Mammoth p? Got it the other day and the ladies got their first dose, .6 ml/gallon I believe. I managed to find 60ml for $16 on eBay, also a pricing error. Stuff smells like a nightmare, so I’m thinking I got the real thing.

Haha! Yeah, I prefer bud spewing beasts too! I just have to live vicariously through your and other grows, though, while I crimp and clip to keep them contained in my little space. I love how you can just let your plants grow! So jealous... lol!

That seems like a mistake from Amazon for sure! Nice find!

I use Mammoth P like I use Hydroguard. Same dose in everything I put the plants in or water them with from the beginning to the end (except flush). It's now part of my water! Lol!

I totally understand being competitive. I like to win and second is just another word for loser! Yet when I look at my harvest of buds.......... well I ain't no loser:haha:

I buy 1/2 gallon Masons for 6 for $10.50 at a local grocery store.

Day 21

The plants are doing well. It's been pretty humid lately with the on and off rain we have been having. On the good side, I have collected enough rain water to fill the next reservoir this weekend! Pretty cool.

I am pretty sure that I have two phenos this time also, which I really love. It's awesome growing two plants of the same strain, but still getting variety in the smoke. GB1 seems to be more sativa leaning, taller, with a little more spacing between nodes, and thinner leaves. GB2 is a little shorter and bushier, with very wide leaves.

Well, let's just say when I open the cabinet, I don't smell strawberries and cream last the last grow with ANQs. This is definitely weed. No mistaking that. Strong for vegging plants, too. A deisely scent with skunks undertones. must be from the OG side. Waiting for some blueberry! Maybe later.

I have been doing more leaf tucking than I have ever done. I am encouraging the tops to stretch some more before I do my training, the plants seem to naturally want to side branch, so they are growing wider than taller right now.

Still all blurple with the KIND LED. Plants just really love the spectrum during vegging. So far have been a joy to grow. Boring is good!

:pass:

Cheers!
