Photoperiod Inzane in the Membrane - ETHOS Genetics...

Love your pics btw, I see you are a photographer in another thread. What gear do you use? I'm an avid photographer myself but I need to pull out the good camera and put away the iPhone, it's just convenient.

Hi RivetGrrl, I pretty much shoot Sony. I used to be a Canon girl but I switched to mirrorless and used Olympus Cameras. I currently use a Sony Rx1R II, Sony Rx100m5, Sony A7R II, Sony A7S, Sony A7R III and I have a bunch of glass. As a photographer I see beauty in many things, and this fantastic plant is one of them but here is the thing, I am not just taking pictures of my plants, rather my girls are posing for me. I talk to them, they are members of my family.

I like the respect you show these living organisms, I feel bad for the plants at work because they are treated as a commercial product, so I try and touch them and talk to them as I work. Many of us do. Some of us are a little weird I think but I'm good with that  Mine at home are nurtured and respected even with the training I try my best.
For cameras I switched from Canon to Olympus mirrorless as well, OM-D E-M5 Mark II, with
M.Zuiko ED 14-150mm f4.0-5.6 Iens only for now.
I won't clog up your thread with camera stuff, maybe there's a photo thread elsewhere that can be used.
I will watch your grow and pictures

The girls are stretching under the Optic 4 LED. I will raise the plants a few inches. One must be careful here, if they stretch too much (obvious sign of not enough light) they could wind up snapping in half and die. One the other hand if the light is too close you will fry and cook the seedlings. Great care at this stage IMO must happen. I believe the seedling stage for both Photo's and Auto's is the most critical. Since I have some stretch and will get more I will add more soil.

Here are the baby girls, Day 2 of Life and Health.

In the seedling stage growth can seem slow, as the plants energy is focusing on developing a root system.... The girls are doing well. IMO Photoperiods grow slower then Auto's, in most cases at the seedling and juvenile stage. But Photo's can also explode with growth.....

The girls got their 1st microbe treatment....

Here they are in day 4 of Life and Health.

pray to the lights above my babies....

Was out of town for a few days, girls were still well cared for. I am only focusing on building up a microbe population in the soil using various products, Recharge, Nitryx, Armory.

The girls are growing at a much slower pace then my auto's, but they are happy and healthy as they build a root system diverse with microbial life..

Day 10 of Life and Health - both girls.....

I like that thing about photos, is control of when it's time for them to flower. Gives you time to train, top, clone and as you are doing, build up your soil until it's time to release them to explode into flower.

Both girls progressing nicely..... They are showing some light stress from the Optic 4, I'll lower the plants just a tad. I try and keep my lights as close as I can during the seedling stage to avoid 'seedling stretch' which indicates not enough light. Great care is used in this stage to avoid unnecessary stem stretch potentially snapping in half or burning your plants... I always look for the sweet spot which varies from strain to strain...
