I have several posts over AFN, first started in the Bomb Seed section...no traffic what so ever...lame

I quickly made a few posts in the infirmary do to a minor learning curve, new 315w Ceramic Metal Halide light and autos, yes my first run in with autos. Does that mean I don't know how to grow...pretty much...lol who cares it's a plant dubbed Weed.... the weeds in my driveway get plucked and manage to grow back so how hard/bad can it be.

Also I am new to this site, now finding out about the "journal section" so let's get it going.

My grow area is 3x3
Using Bomb Seeds
315w CMH
Soil grow
Light cycle 20/4
Those are the basics

Pretty basic, using the paper towel method. Always worked for me in the past.
The key is making sure they paper towels remain somewhat warm and not soaked.

Okay so I kept them in a warm place and they popped in 16 hours. I will plant them directly into the 3 gallon fabric pots immediately, no wait. 4 out of the 6 popped.

Update: the remaining two popped 8 hours later. All six are in the soil.

All seeds were put down, I put them 1/8 of an inch down that's it, I also put them tap root down. I did some reading on root up then curls down versus root down and I'm going with what I'm used to.

I used some domes from dollar general to localize humidity. I did a test run and threw my thermometer inside the dome. RH 70 and temps around 75.
**make sure to cut holes in the domes if you use them** my friend didn't put holes....not good for business!!

Update: I start with my light maxed out at the top! It's over 4 feet from the soil.
For every 6 inches I drop the light the tempature increases 2 degrees. No joke ventilation needed.

Less than 24 hours later the first 4 seeds poked their heads through, the other two seeds were 8 hours behind.

Today is the beginning of day 3 for the little ones. All seeds are on their way up...

We took a few days off.
Today is day 7, some minor discoloration. After many questions and research IMO (and others) most likely hot soil from using Roots Organics soil, I could have dug out a solo cup worth and replaced with seedling soil, this is what I will do the next time around. They powered through no problem!
