Indoor In the Rasters of My 4 by 4

So it's going to be hard to tell from this picture, but...

After cutting off the top 1/3 of the bud, it's trying to grow out the top and keep stretching. Something I expected, but wanted to test anyway. But the other colas are catching up, so I am starting to think that this might be better for me than super cropping, but we'll see.

The Z-Flip camera is worse than my last phone for taking macro shots. So I asked my wife to buy me this, but left it up to her whether it would be for Christmas or not...

As you might have guessed by the previous post, today's star is my big hope. An (Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni landrace) x Purple Canyon Industrial (named Snow), day 28. Just look at all that stretch!

20231203_103558.jpg

She's planted in an ACTUAL 5 gallon pot, and is going to take up ALL of the vertical space and most of the horizontal space available to her. I think she's going to be a really good yielder, but we'll see.

A week or so ago I did a drastic defoliation. She hasn't completely recovered yet but she's filling in. And at 4 weeks in, I'm suspecting she'll go 12 weeks. But I'm still learning...

If she's going to herm, she should be doing that by now or in the next few days. Wishing for a straight lady!

Edit: Oh yeah, I took stem rubs and she smells like a fresh lime would when you rub it. Nothing diverse or difficult to describe.

And look at this long-running Namkading landrace beast! (Day 79/~170)

I dusted her with some polyhybrid auto F1 pollen so I should be able to find something interesting in the offspring.

Here's a shot of the Double Grape I'm making seeds from. For me, at least, she got a pretty phenomenal size for a one liter. This is still one of the easiest strains I've ever grown.

Anyway I have less than maybe 50 seeds left so it's time to make some more.

I'm spotlighting a couple of my crosses today. This Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni x Purple Canyon ("Snow") had a perfect stretch - 2.5x, but the buds were too small. That's starting to change now. On day 33 stretch has nearly stopped and she's focusing her growth into the buds. Where before I was worried about empty internode space, I'm now confident that space will be filled. If I'm right, that's some serious yield.

Another cross, Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni x 41 Bucks, just put on 12s this morning after taking cuttings. I'm hoping the landrace infusion will add some stretch to the 41 Bucks and will know in a few weeks, though vegging has been very similar to the 41 Bucks parent.

'Member when I gave the high and tight to the main cola to see what happens? Well, this Snow pheno (Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni x Purple Canyon) is responding pretty well to my experimental training. She's still trying to grow the cola, but the best she can do is split one bud into two:

And in the meantime, the other colas are slowly catching up.

The Snow pheno (Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni landrace) x Purple Canyon Industrial has definitely stopped stretch and is two months in so I think it's a three month pheno.

As you probably remember, I cut the top cola when it was tall enough and was hoping the other colas would catch up but it looks like they won't - though they got pretty close.

She smells very pleasant, is sticky and oily, but it's not a modern smell - it just smells like weed I smoked when I was a kid.

The Namkading landrace mini-scrog is loaded with seeds and branches are extremely heavy. I expected them to flop over when they started getting heavy, but the branches are beefy and are holding up well.

Here's the whole tent!

I've got weed to harvest on Christmas, and three more harvests in the first week of next year probably. I'm rich!

So this scrawny-assed weed called "Sticky Icky" ...

... didn't stretch. I don't think it stretched a bit.

The buds are nice and tight. Bag appeal is good with this one.

But it's really all about the high, isn't it? And after drying it out in the microwave, I've got to say pretty damn nice and very potent... It's got the euphoria ofSinscuichi with a touch of Salvia. Mellow and relaxing euphoria with scattered showers of slight trippiness and light confusion about your surroundings. I am keeping this clone! :fire: :yay1:

It's got a compelling fuely smell that isn't really strong, but it is sticky. When you dry it out in the microwave, it's like smoking wheatgrass. Eewuuuccchhhh. :frog: Not in a good way but I'm sure it'll be awesome once it's cured.

Just be sure to grow it almost to harvest size before flip and it'll yield like a monster.
