Harvest & Curing Information on herbsNOW cannabis dryer.

So from everything I can see, the herbsnow company had the temp button removed and had it preset to "something." I remember reading a bit and that the main issue with the food dehydrators is that they would run too hot and boil off the oils and terpenes in herbs. I'm curious if these other "FD708" models run low enough. The one linked on amazon says down to 90F and punching in the model number I came across this Magic Mill brand that states 95F on the low end.

They all look identical except for that temp button.

@MOMedical - would you happen to have a small thermometer and be able to see what temp the herbsnow operates?

Shoot - factory direct $15! I wonder what the minimum order number is?

That looks like it. The herbsNOW had a 96 hour timer. I am curious as to what the lowest temperature on the herbsNOW is.

At what temperature does it operate at thats so beneficial to drying in 96hrs?
Answer:
HerbsNOW operates in the low 80F range. 96 hours is the average dry time, but each user's personal preference and drying environment can vary the final drying time.

Thanks for the info. It appears that the HerbsNOW has a fixed thermostat. All of the other look alike units I am seeing have variable thermostats that are 95 degrees and up. Need to find one with correct temperature range.

I wonder if the mfg company would make that sort of adjustment for you. Especially if it's fixed temp, that would most likely be less parts etc.

I am in contact with a manufacturer now. I am being led to believe that they were the maker of the herbsNOW. I am being told that they can support my request for the unit. I am still trying to determine that they are the original maker and not just blowing smoke. I will let you know my findinds.

I found the manufacturer of the herbsNOW dryer. The reason that I know I found them is my contact at the company contacted their customer here, and I received email from Scott inquiring as to how he might help me. I sent him an email ,waiting for reply

Solid news. That's some good detective work!

Well, having heard nothing from Scott at herbsNOW, I emailed my contact at the factory and asked her if I could not get one from Scott could I get one from her. She replied that I could. I emailed a few hours ago and told her that I wanted to buy from her. Yesterday she said I could. Now she is telling me that she can not sell to me because they make exclusive sale to their customer. The only thing that has changed is that she contacted Scott at herbsNOW and I contacted him and mentioned that I could buy from her. I guess he shut that down. I have not given up.
