hey dude you might be able to help me I'm looking at getting a reverse osmosis filter any ideas what to go for any help would be more than welcome
heya wile
I got mine through ebay but it would depend on the unit.
generally speaking they will come with either an under sink adapter or a simple tap connector or possibly both of some description .
Tanks are optional for them generally but it depends on the setup what exactly you will need. you can use the RO tank , Or a collapsible tank like the budbox tank like above, or you could in theory connect it directly to a system depending on the setup to do auto top offs with a cheap float valve. it mostly only limited to your own imagination i guess like most things.
The reason you might need a tank depends on the unit output size itself and your needs. For eg. mines a small 70gpd so it just drizzles out basically so i need a tank otherwise it takes all day to fill the system.which is fine for me and they are cheap.
mine comes out at 4ppm hanna or under sometimes 0ppm hanna.
This may depend on how long it runs for before filling anything or perhaps not but it does state that on the packaging: 4ppm hanna. And always if brand new run for awhile before filling EG i had to run mine to waist for 5mins before first use.
Again I'm not real expert on anything . Im just parting with info i've picked up to help others i hope is at least close to accurate however your own research is entirely necessary on all topics.
I hope this helps man its very basic because my own understanding is very basic on them. cheers bro
