,I have to update shortly but there doing fine however I have had to get the numbers down due to low air levels so I'm running just 3 Aus at the minute and 2fast. Anq has been smoked hahaha well most of her. Bloody strong smoke she is too.
The heat has sky rocketed here recently for the past 3 weeks or so and I've had issues keeping the temps in range. So par of course I've started on H2o2To keep it clean.
Im also not largely impressed by my current lighting as I'm being forced to run my led 280w.and I ain't none to happy about it either as I've repeated on constantly pmsl.
All in all I'm doin ok not Stella for my liking but ok bro
It's just smoke to get me through until my system is back online properly.i won't be breaking any records with this one hehe. We all have our down times

Yeah me and the mrs had a sit down this morning and we want to go back to Hps very shortly because were thinking what's it gonna take? 3 leds or 4 leds? hey man I'm just a home grower. and after all that i could solve the whole lot by just keeping the 600 i have and getting a chiller for the money saved by not needing a ton of lights to grow nice buds .I'm hearing a lot of claims and seeing no real results for time and money spent on single led's unless your running alot of power anyway so it starts to defeat the purpose right there. DWC is DWC go big or go home i say
Im not going to risk anymore money when i have the best sitting in the cupboard haha

I also wanted to humbly ask for your advice on lst'ing. my plants keep pulling themselves down in the buckets and my 2 fast and night queen have won the fight and managed to win against me resisting my lsting i think i need some professional advice on Lst'ing in Dwc.or if not Lst should there be something eles that would be better?

Im not sure on the Big Bud as i dont use it myself. I use CANNA boost because it is pretty much the same as big bud + over drive + carbaload + bud ignitor and Bud candy all in one bottle. But if you feel that the acid in the Ph down breaks down the cloud then do what works best for you. Sorry i cant help more on that subject.
The thing with LST is to get the benefits from it you need to start a little earlier. I like to start bending the plant gradually from weeks 4 onward. You want the main stem to gradually align itself with the rest of the secondary shoots and try to maintain this the whole way through till flower where you can back off.
Hps pumps out weight for sure but damn they cost a lot when you factor in cooling and ventilation.also running lights 18-24 hours a day adds up.I break it out for late winter when I can pump the heat right into the house and save gas. quality is NOT as good as Leds either. next time you do a HPS grow take a look at the quality difference between bud exposed at the top of the plant to some that's slightly shaded. the slightly shaded bud is always frostier. it's like the HPS blasts some of the trics off! I know that's not what happens but I have observed this alot. I haven't noticed this so much with leds.
I have to use leds in the summer.I turn the lights off from noon till 5 pm and it still gets hot in the house during the day. Especially this year.I rent and like my landlord so no holes in the walls or cealings.tbh my best grow yet was only 2- 4 O's difference between a grow with my leds and my best grow in a 3x3 with the 600. I pull 10-12 O's on avrage with the leds and 12-16 with the 600 16 was my best, 2 grows ago. Anyway i'm high and rambling. o/

@Grim Reefer , Ramble away brother i want to suck your brains.pmsl ,I can totally see that you know what page i'm on.
And your totally right in the way i havnt given it all much a go to be honest in reference to LED and LST for sure a single grow even with multiple plants isn't enough to properly dial in or test the led properly as nothing has properly finished with a proper go at it without heat ect.
yeah its great in winter for heating the house (hps) we had a good day today when i got home a few mins ago the tent is sitting at a comfy 23c and im not really used of UK weather but the mrs says it will cool right down shortly which is kinda hilarious in a way because I'm forever complaining about the cold here being from a tropics Haha..Until now that is pmsl.
Needless to say after that comment I'm switching to Canna boost i recon ,I had no idea it had that many benefits in one bottle thanks grimmy for that info.
I've used and still have a lot of Canna aqua but of course Sensi out dose that. def for me anyway.
Perhaps the hps is actually frying the oil glands perhaps in a way that's melting them like all oil dose when heated it changes its viscosity. Maybe something along those lines.
I'm planning to run a mix just with the 600w and the led hanging right down to the sides maybe..But I'm still in confusion about this and in regards to the new GN light. Basically like everyone else i don't want no bullshit i cant afford it financially or time wise.i do like the HS1 but its under powered i think personally and ive only seen good results when 2 or more or other fixtures are added but still very impressive for its real power. i need it all to work now so i think i'l wait for some results from here before i make a decision on that one.All in all my Hps wasn't to bad i run it in a cool hood with a 4'' extractor straight though and out about 26-27c-ish i only ever had issues when i tried to push it to like u say 20+ hours.

GNs new LED will be great. Im one of the very few testers that will have the pleasure of using the new light before its goes on sale to the public. Il link you tot the grow so you can decide for yourself what is best for you when the time comes.
