you also WILL get genetic diversity useing only one plant as EVERY plant has traits that are not dominant in the original plant but often become dominant within the offspring
everything you need to know has been posted in this forum , please read and if you have questions after reading dont be afraid to ask , but please dont ask when the answer is staring you in the face
if you are forced to use one plant then so be it , go for it , but if possible use 2 plants for better and more reliable results best of luck with your breeding project

Edit : it appears to me as though you are looking for the quickest way to acheave the results/seeds/plants you are after , that imho is a big mistake and exactly why some breeders/seedbanks FAIL as they are after the same
if you want results you can be proud of do not take short cuts
