EC this morning is at top end of 1.5!! But I'm just gonna let them ride that out... If I see any burn at the tip I'll weaken the feed a little..
They are a bit droopy this morn but this is actually their bedtime.. & they get like that near lights out.. So I'll be hoping to have pert looking plants an hr after the lights come on @ 4pm..
I'll report back then...
These plants are baffling me... They have been the complete opposite to everything I'd heard or thought I knew about ABB... These teenagers (I think I could call them that now...) Are on a feed that is almost as strong as my TD's had at the height of bloom..
I've been taught another valuable lesson by these girls.... Every plant is DI
ERENT & listen to what they are telling you... I had noticed a couple of days ago that the smaller one was again starting to look hungry... But I just didn't believe her I suppose... I though no 1.2-1.3EC if definitely enough... It wasn't..
JTaNg bro.. You're correct that its is pretty turbulent in those buckets... I pulled a couple of roots out of the res this morn.. 1 was at least 6" long... Not liking that...
Well as I said they're going to sleep in an hr... EC 1.5..pH 5.7

Slightly over half strength strength base nutes & full strength voodoo juice..
I tell ya bud, it's bordering on 1.6EC at the mo... I'm sweating about that slightly.. But we'll see how they fare for a while..

Ok folks... It's Monday morning & @ 4pm it'll be day 21 for the yum yums..
Up until Friday past there I thought this grow was going pretty well.. Until I looked at my previous grow (which was a shambles) & realised that I am actually behind in terms of growth.
I was worried about over ferting these blueberry's to the point where I've been starving them... Which in turn has led to a cal/mg deficiency in both plants.. The little one has it the worst.. The bigger healthier girl only has a touch... Now I think that I've caught this before it got to bad...
As stated above I have upped the res's strength to 1.5EC & at that I think I have found my better looking plant's threshold as I can see just the very tip (& I mean just the smallest tip... no the very vey very point) of one of her leaves has shown nute burn.. So I weakened the EC slightly & she seems happy..
Now the weaker more sativa looking plant.. The one that is giving me most grief... I'm getting the feeling that she could have went to 1.6EC no probs coz she is not showing any burn whatsoever..
Since I upped their feed on fri evening there.. I think I'm getting things back on track... The weaker girl is growing again & the stronger one is looking lush & green..
Now the cal/mg def on the smaller plant... It looks pretty bad... It's on the older leaves & not the new ones... But as I said it looks pretty bad so I gave them both a foliar feed of Epsom salts yesterday... My pH is at 5.6 at the mo... & according to the info I have mg is locked out below 5.8pH so that was my thinking behind that.
I'm assuming I got the cal/mg deficiency from under feeding them & blazing LEDs, hopefully that will be a thing of the past now I'm feeding them EC's that they require..
I'm gonna do a res change tomorrow evening & up both feeds to 1.6EC of base Nutes, Root stim & a touch of sensical Grow.
To me this sounds barmy!! But what do I know?? The girls have shown me that they are hungry for it & I've been told by my mentor to give them 1.6EC @ 21days old... So that's what I'll do..
I'm gonna leave pics for a week or so.. Only one of them looks good the other... Not so much..
I was hoping to yield big from these pair this run.. But now I know I've still a lot to learn about MJ & DWC before I can pull 5-6oz off a plant... Now I'm just hoping to get about 5oz between these two.. I'd be very happy with that... That would be plenty to keep me going until I get the next run finished..
I think that's all for now..
Oh I've also turned my lights up to 3/4 of full power.. I think ill leave it like that thru veg & then give them the full dixie when they enter flower mode...
