Whats the best way to handle this? Plant all 3 and hope for 1 male at least and let it pollinate the others? I've never bred before so I'm assuming they'll do it naturally. Or is 3 plants not enough to hope for a mix of male and fems and Would I need to cross them back with one of the strains its bred with? or what? When I say rare, I mean these are rare. Only 300 seeds were produced, 25 packs and were never sold to the p ublic

Yeah I'd have the sts spray ready to produce fem seeds if you don't get a male. 50 percent should be males but thats 3 coin tosses so you could get 3 fems.

I tried a couple clones this time around just to see how the process might work. I used the tops that I cut off my two pollen plants when I topped them. Neither grew roots after a week in moist peat pellets, even after being treated with rooting hormone. Good thing I was not depending on them rooting, it was just a test to see how using the tops might work. I have a single Mephisto Cosmic Queen in the cupboard that I was hoping to make seeds from, but this test is not encouraging.

I did my first clone attempt this week, I got it from the lower and its still green, not wilted. I think that is a good sign. I am curious how to keep a plant in veg for over a year or years. I read where you can train the plant over time to stay short and a happy healthy mother plant can produce up to 15-20 clones a week. I saw pictures of a mother plant the guy keeps as a house plant and it was several years old

Yep, bonsai mothers! Tbh if you're going that route your best bet is to grow the mother from seed and then take clones as needed.

Silver thiosulfate a mixture of silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate. Its an ethylene blocker(female hormone) to make females bear male parts. Colloidal silver is also used for this purpose but I've heard sts is more effective. Haven't experimented with it yet even though I have the chemicals. Timing is important. Cloning would be the far simpler way but not if you want to preserve these genetics long term.

These guys are on it. Make a clone, use some STS spray to reverse into a male, and pollinate another clone. You can make thousands of seeds. It is a pretty simple process. I have done it before.
